I know what this means 👍

The family went to Doune Castle a couple years ago (Scotland). The audio guide was narrated by one of the Pythons and was an absolute riot.

They even had several sets of coconuts to loan 'as needed' for tourists. Fun!

Sorry about the previous suggestion(s).

Car: Nissan GT-R Proto '05

Division 4 Report for 21 Jul 13

First of all, the D4 replays have been uploaded and data put to bed. Twas an odd night to be frank. For me personally, it was horrible. No ones fault but mine. There are combos that I do well with and others I just can't find my groove. Sunday night was the perfect storm of me having no game in all three combos. I apologize for pulling over but at the time it seemed like the right thing to do. The D4 crowd was not immune to connectivity issues. D4 has been plagued with connection conflicts and other ghosts for quite some time now and I think it really plays into our race mentality. I usually post our race report on the same night but I figured it would be in everyone's best interest if I took some time and got everything into a proper perspective.

Now that I have calmed myself, I can see that Sunday night was another successful race night. Yes there were intolerable connection issues, I couldn't have driven any worse and coupled with a few other factors, there were still many great battles. The one that comes to mind the most is watching Ph7sher snake XR_RACER_11 by .011 in the final stretch. One of the other real highlights of the night is for the D4 overall winner to let us all know that he may not have won the night. True SNAIL spirit. After all of the data entry, it looks like XR still won the night.... By 1 point... 1st, 2nd and 3rd were all separated by ... 1 point...

Even though it was one of my worst nights ever I can now see that a good time was had by all and I absolutely can't wait until next week for a little redemption!!

👍 My first race night (well afternoon for me but there we go, thats what happens when you live miles away from everyone else in the world).
I had a good time and hope they my being so far away doesn't cause any issues for anyone connection wise.

I must admit I was very nervous going into the start of the night and I think my driving once the racing started showed that but I started getting into it a bit more as things progressed. Looking forward to future races for sure.

Got the car borrowed, I'll get that app today after work. Thanks again cheeb, and those that offered to help.

No need to feel stupid Ph1sher, you're not the first and I'm sure you won't be the last :) It's easy to make that mistake.

Thanks for that, it's good fun for me and I hope useful for everyone.

@Rally, not sure if you borrowed my F1 '10 or not, but it'll come off share around 6 PM MDT as I need to do a few laps tonight.

Not only was the finish in D4 extremely close, but has anyone noticed how close the battle for the Prize A was this week? JoeyFast beat canucklehead for it by less than two thirds of a single point!

Also, check out the results of the elimination vote! After you void the votes by the three prize winners, the final tally was:
  • Round 1 - 11 elimination votes
  • Round 2 - 12 elimination votes
  • Round 3 - 13 elimination votes
Doesn't get much closer than that! Be sure to cast your votes at the end of the night because just one vote can dramatically change how the lineup is affected!

Do we have combos picked from the wieners yet? Baa, jk, jk.

Speaking of JoeyFast and canucklehead, I'll PM then a reminder about the prizes. 👍

zer05ive missing a post on GT Planet :boggled:

Oops! Sorry about that. However, I just got a PM from Dragon that the "all clear" was actually waived off. The stewards are reviewing an incident involving one of the prize winners. It was submitted late due to some confusion about the new division assignments. Long story short, we'll need to wait for an update from the stewards before the prizes can be announced.
