I say keep everything sortable, so no Roman numerals. And YYYY-MM-DD, so it sorts correctly.

I tried, but I don't have an upload button.

Esh?

The SNAIL share is read-only. You need to join the incoming/upload share as well to upload.

EDITED: info coming soon...

Then whoever mans the account would move everything over into the other share. I did that to prevent people from deleting or overwriting anything.

Or if you feel confident that won't be an issue, I can make the SNAIL share read/write. Should also get the SNAIL account set up.

Data Manager - Vol Jbolaz

I also seem to wind up in these sort of positions. I really should find a way to make this sort of thing my day job.

I don't know how many people here have ever played, or currently play, MMOs. I once played Eve Online, an MMO that... well... it makes World of Warcraft look like a knitting sampler:

Eve Online Learning Curve by padraicb, on Flickr

I was with an outfit years ago that would fluctuate between 70 and 100 members. I was Director of Industrial Logistics: data manager basically. Also responsible for managing the build queues and shipping materials to and from the frontier.

All I can say is my spreadsheet-foo is good.

esh

Brilliant idea. I love it.

Eve, esh!I played for a very short time. But I have things to do in life. Like, eat and breath and sleep. Good thing you don't still play, otherwise there would be no garris to race against.

How soon will the division updates be reported. Not sure which division I'll be racing in tomorrow.

Hey Hogster, the deadline for notifying us of not being able to race Sunday is 9:00 CDT today.

I'm driving in the M3 race tonight so it'll be posted after those races are done, approx 23:30 CDT.

EDIT: Did it again, stupid timezones. Corrected the CDT times.

A while back I said I'd post some pictures of the updated man cave. I finally got a chance to take some pictures today. Don't mind the mess it is a MAN cave

I do play a little rockband too ;)

two racing setups?? daaang!! do you have two PS3's as well or do you just use the second seat for 2-player split-screen races?

yeah two, a little over kill :)

Used for split screen racing. We have a bunch of parties and end up playing rockband and/or gt5. I couldn't see having one person sit in the seat with the nice wheel and pedals and handing the other person a ds3 :yuck:

Both seats have buttkickers too :)

Zer0, put me down for uploading the div 1 video files. I keep copies anyway and it won't take too much effort.

Thought I'd pass this site along, it can be useful if you want to know when a specific car will be coming up in your ucd. Like the M3 GTR :)

I used to get the last of my standard cars and it pegged the day the car would show up every time.

Worked again for the M3 👍

This message is for all the M3 GTR Challenge Racers tonight:
I was wondering if anyone would have a problem with starting practice/qualifying a little earlier tonight at 9:45 EST and the race starting at 10:15 EST. I have some family on there way home, and they should be getting home around 11:30, I just want to make sure I have enough time to complete the race and get the replay saved. If you have any objections please let me know. Sorry for the short notice.

I'm sorry for the late notice as well, but I won't be able to race tonight.

Snails, please check out the M3 GTR Challenge if you haven't done so yet. It's great racing with a great car. Looks like cmbeal317 will be opening the lounge a little early tonight, but if you can't join early it just means you don't have as much qualifying time (which is not a big deal in a long endurance race).

Have fun tonight! Sorry I have to miss the festivities.

No problem, hope to see you next week. Also hoping some more people will show up tonight.

See you then!:)

I have to put in a pretty sure I will not be racing on Sunday, the 22nd.

I am helping the scouts run through archery and rifles today, and with an unexpectedly high turnout that I am now hearing about, I have to spend a few more hours reloading a couple of cases of 12 gauge, and that means some extra hours cleaning (or rather, teaching to clean), for many of the younger guys.

Good luck, sorry that I won't be able to make it. I hope I can see one of the races, ESP in the new RM that has me flummoxed.

Uhhhh, cleaning rifles. The only thing worse then that is cleaning up brass out on a desert range after qualifying on a 240b or a M249.
Wish I could join ya guys, but I just got done pulling the rack out of the TT. Now I need to see if one of the hoses was leaking as well. Hope you guys have some good racing tonight.

I hear yah, Rally. Try pullin brass out of Misery Sludge (red clay in the state of "misery" where ya find St. Louis. Tomorrow's joy will be added by me somehow promising to bring more blackpowder 12 gauge rounds. What was I thinking?

are you using "clean" black powder? We used blanks when we played "war games" that after a 20 round magazine would leave about 20 magazines worth of carbon from normal ball point rounds

I usually run Triple 7, a substitute, in shoulder months, but full on Goex, or whatever in the hot months. Ok, back to the bench...

I may try to peek inna race Sunday eve if I am awake, but don't bet on it.

In a way I envy you guys. I've spent about 12 hours of the last two Sunday's traipsing about with a 12 gauge in search of turkeys…haven't fired a round, yet. Wild turkeys are a smart lot. AND it was damp each time, so I have to keep oiling the thing. There are worse tasks than maintaining a firearm, though.

Vol/garris: I foolishly neglected to save half of last Sunday's replays, so I guess my official duty of D2 Statistician begins this coming week. Mayhaps I'll add the numbers from the races that I did save, though.

Which ones are you missing? I saved quite a few.

Offical Driver List updated for races on April 22nd.

Sorry for the delay, had to try and stay unlapped in my M3 :)

You'll notice not much in the way of relegation this week. The grim reapers scythe takes a break this week :mischievous:

Please remember the GTP OLR when you race tomorrow.

Courtesy for your fellow drivers should be foremost in your mind when on track.

I spoke with cheeb after the racing last night and he said he'd do the D1 numbers. With all the snails who are contributing to our collective effort, I thought it would be a good idea to list what everyone is doing in order to provide a little bit of "structure" to our league responsibilities. This is what I've come up with so far:

Overall League Responsibilities
 • League Coordinator ----- kcheeb
 • Data Manager ---------- Vol Jbolaz
 • Color/Number Manager -- tezgm99
 • Archive Manager -------- esh
 • Event Hosts ------------ Rallywagon, Vol Jbolaz, dudeondacouch, diabolicwyvern, cmbeal317
 • Racing Instructors ------ sharkie, irmopars

Division 1 Responsibilities
 • Director -------- diabolicwyvern
 • Stewards ------- sharkie, jlbowler
 • Statistician ----- kcheeb
 • Photographers -- *looking for volunteers*
 • Replay Uploads -- sharkie

Division 2 Responsibilities
 • Director -------- zer05ive
 • Stewards ------- Apmaddock, rallywagon, dabneyd
 • Statistician ----- Apmaddock
 • Photographers -- *looking for volunteers*
 • Replay Uploads -- Apmaddock

Division 3 Responsibilities
 • Director -------- Vol Jbolaz
 • Stewards ------- Vol Jbolaz
 • Statistician ----- Vol Jbolaz
 • Photographers -- *looking for volunteers*
 • Replay Uploads -- Vol Jbolaz

Please note that this list is a very rough draft and it will be updated as needed. Also, it's important to note that responsibilities will change as members get promoted and relegated between divisions. If there's a position you would like to volunteer for (whether its filled of not filled), please let me know. Or if you want to contribute to the league in a way not listed above because I'm sure I'm leaving something out!

Thanks to everyone who has volunteered their time and effort into making this league a success. Organizing three simultaneous divisions of drivers is quite an accomplishment. The amount of teamwork that we've exhibited and all the ideas and talents that we each bring to the table really makes me proud to be a snail! :D

I can do some photos if you like. Not the same thing in GT5 but I actually have a degree in photography....which of course explains why I'm a network admin today.

Wanted to thank cmbeal for hosting last night. Was a lot of fun.

Had battles with just about everyone at some point 👍
