Seconded. I've developed much lust for that V8 atom ever since I saw it on Top Gear. If given the opportunity, I'd gladly part with a kidney for one.

I don't think anyone would pay you that much for a kidney buddy. You're probably gonna have to throw in a lung, an eye, and a chunk of liver. Even then you're probably only getting the base version, not the V8.

EDIT: While I was there, I took a few minutes to check out "the competition" (Forza 5) and found a cool little car in there called the Ariel Atom. It's like the LLC Rocket in GT5, but instead of the "old school" Formula 1 look, it's looks like a "mini-me" of today's F1 cars. Pretty cool. 👍

Yup, they've had that car on Top Gear several times. That thing is BAD fast.

My brother drove them with Allen Berg Racing about 5 years ago. He still talks about it Not sure which version though.

What kind of headset. I had a similar issue form my wireless TB DPx's

Turtle Beach PX4. Had no issues in other rooms until last night. Very annoying.

If there was a difference, it was subtle. I do remember averaging a middle 13 at Silverstone while practicing, but then not able to break 14 while practicing online. Have you considered the fact that the weather changes? I know I've noticed before that by the end of the race the lighting has changed. I believe they also model temperature- I'm sure a big change in temperature would affect your lap times pretty dramatically.

Ya that was the only thing i could think of was the weather change. I know they added it in as a new feature this game. It was just odd i was around 1.3 sec slower per lap, threw me off big time. Just wanted to see if it was the same for everyone.

I don't have a PS4, but I stopped by GameStop today and asked how if they detailed sales figures for that location comparing the PS4 and the Xbox One. He said he didn't have the exact figures, but what he could confirm was that they've been sold out of PS4's for weeks and they have plenty of Xbox Ones that nobody is asking about. That makes me happy.

EDIT: While I was there, I took a few minutes to check out "the competition" (Forza 5) and found a cool little car in there called the Ariel Atom. It's like the LLC Rocket in GT5, but instead of the "old school" Formula 1 look, it's looks like a "mini-me" of today's F1 cars. Pretty cool. 👍

I got the opportunity to see the supercharged I4 version of this. When I was racing SoloII in the PanAm SCCA down in El Paso, I guy raced one. Those are wicked fast, I can only imagine how much faster this is. Love this car. I have a long simmering plan of building a Super7 that kinda got morphed once I saw this thing. MS must have an exclusivity contract with Ariel, I can't think for the life of me why this car isn't in GT5-6. I would Imagine Ariel would have been eager to do something like this.

There are actually two Atoms. The one in the picture is the larger, V8 version. It is currently 3rd on the Power Lap Board (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Gear_Power_Lap_Times#Power_Laps). In all fairness, the Rocket hasn't been on Top Gear. The Caterham's have.

MS must have an exclusivity contract with Atom, I can't think for the life of me why this car isn't in GT5-6. I would Imagine Atom would have been eager to do something like this.

Maybe that car will be in a DLC sometime in the future, or not.

As to last night's racing:
GT-6 was locked up a couple of times after a race was completed - had to exit the room and return. Between races 5-6 it was completely paralyzed and had to exit GT-6 completely. Did not get to record Race 5, or return in a timely fashion so just said my Goodbye's and left for the night.
Hope it is a fixable matter and will not be an on-going problem.

Where do I find the finish time for the winner when viewing a replay?

If you find out, let me know. Last week when I didn't record finishing times I had to try to pause the replay a split second after the winner crossed the finish line then subtract the "parade lap" time from the total time in the upper right corner. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't (sometimes the lap timer gets messed up during replays). You could also add up all lap times for the race, but that'd be kind of a pain.

I figured out a way to compute it from a replay. After the leader finishes, he is actually given another lap timer/counter for his 'victory lap' - so you can pause it right after the finish, and deduct that from the total race time. Not as easy as copying from the screen at the time, but it's available at least.

Yeah it's strange. All you really need to do in that case is go rewind from the finish (left arrow) one click. Then use the right arrow (one click) and it puts you at the finish line with the correct total time 👍

Last sunday night for me until april, but it was worth it. Had some great racing with the usual suspects and some new faces in D1. First time racing online in GT6, the new draft setting is a welcome addition and the blindspot indicators too. I'm just sad that they took away the scale 1 track map but that doesn't get in the way of clean racing as depicted in the pictures below.

Going three wide on last lap, 3-way battle for second place between Adventuruss, Redsoxboy and myself.

Race hard, race clean, race SNAIL.

Just something I noticed on the season point totals. I have participated in 3 nights of SNAIL, but the sheet isn't showing my results from 12-15. I believe I finished 4th in D3. The name from that week was my GTP name (Troggy) instead of my PSN name (Troggeh).

I believe I scored 76 points to bring my total to 210. Good for 2nd place.

Looks like there was a lot of shifting across divisions in December. It was pretty transitional for several divisions. Congrats to all who had fun! I sure did!

I have a 100 ft. cable that runs from one end of my house to the other to supply a wired connection to my man cave. The distance is not an issue for me what so ever. Just make sure to don't pinch the cable anywhere and you'll be fine.
