@OwensRacing @Rallywagon What do you guys think of ProjectCars? The game looks like it is going to be amazing, and not just visually. Can't talk about the physics, but even the game mode and progression are shaping up to be what GT failed to be. Starting in Kart racing and then moving from there to a specific area like open-wheel; Le Mans; Rally; etc. You'll even get a livery editor, something that they apparently couldn't implement in GT6 even though that feature exists for ever (see Need for Speed Pro Street). Being honest, with ProjectCars (expected to be) coming winter of next year, it might be the reason for me to buy a PS4 and dropping GT (unless of course GT7 blows my mind).
Don't know, its a closed beta, so getting in to actually play isn't something I've been able to do, it does look amazing thxough, and I agree, the way their career mode is set up makes actuall career sense. I had no idea they were bringing it to the PS4! As long as the physics are tight, and I have heard they are, then this game may very well be PD's worst enemy. Far, far more damaging than Forza.

Hah, been watching the le mans feed for over half an hour now, seen about 2 minutes of racing! Code 60 boys, code 60
And the 123 car has moved up a position. I wish they broke the positions down by class.

You haven't been collecting $hells for your banners? I could have sworn I put that option in there a long time ago. I can't check from my phone, but click on the 'earn $hells' link in Sig and look for one of the GRAPHIC DESIGNER options.
Yep, its there, like 10 down in the drop down.
The option is there but I am not in the list. I assume it is because I am not active in any of the listed divisions:(

Golly, I guess no soup for you!!! bet you were supposed to be one of the JJLopez's

Well, I'm sure we are about just as informed. But, it works a bit like a full course caution, execpt there is a full track speed limit of 60kph (hence code 60). Go to slo or fast (they check speeds, but also sector times to be sure) and you get a penalty. The big difference I gather is that if you pit under a code 60, you get penalized .652 seconds, per second, of the pit stop. However, this is a new rule, and it see,s there are little loop holes that haven't been considered. It sounds like the .652 penalty is actually a black flag penalty, and they need to sit it out, rather than having the time added to the overall time.

Less than 10 minutes and Nick should be getting in the car. Hopefully I am right on that.
Uh oh, the 123 is in the PITs, 5 minutes now and the hood is up...
And its out, with Ordonez behind the wheel. I'm guessing then that Nick will be raced probably closer to the end. Good news, even with the extended pit stop, the 123 is still 3 laps up!

They've got a huge lead right now...

How do you track the fast laps per driver? do you just do it manually using the timing or is there a feature I'm missing?

Sounds like there might be issues with the 123 car in the pits?

Edit: "seems to have a small water leak but we're not sure at the moment"

:nervous:

Lucas Ordonez in the car now

Found some graphics settings on iRacing that I had missed. The game is much more stunning. I was sorta disappointed at first. I spent quite a bit of money and bought some hefty hardware to ensure I could get 100+ FPS on triples with loads of visuals. Well needless to say with the adjustments. It's all that and then some. Pretty on par if not slightly better then GT6 graphics wise and smooth like silk.

The McLaren MP12 Racer is my favorite car so far. Did some tuning on the Caddy. Got it to drive better. However still not where I want it.

Honestly right now I'm content running laps learning tracks and getting the feel. It's so good I keep wanting more and more. Haven't had that feeling racing for a bit.

So @dabneyd and @fizzer you guys interested in meeting up for a SNAIL session on iRacing sometime soon? Any others race both car to join?

Picture time.

Major problems for the #140 car (been in the pits for over an hour) so GTA #123 is in 1st for SP2 with GTA #126 around 20laps down in 2nd place. Looking good!

Edit: Nevermind...

the #123 is in the garage! Seems the water leak was not fixed, and they are working on fixing it. Currently the 123 is in the lead by about 16 laps. lets see if it will be able to get back out and keep the lead!

123's lead has been widdled down to 10 laps, and its still in the pits, 25 minutes now and counting...

@RunN1st Havent missed it. He's not been on to post your welcome message yet. Hold tight and take some time to check out the first post of this thread, read up on the OLR which is linked there and perhaps get the cars and get some practice in, @Skills should be along with the message for ya.

The live timing shows them fueling. Which, I would guess presages that car hitting the track soon. Appears Lucas is in the car and on his outlap

OK, so, I found this link for live timing, but, does anyone know if/where they are keeping records of fast laps per driver?

Any word from the garage what exactly the problem is other than a water leak?
I have the same question
Nope, not found anything for fast laps or any info on individual results. Flatline, I've not heard anything more other than the water leak was not fixed. I can't imagine anything on that car would take 25 minutes to replace, aside from an engine swap...

EDIT: #123 is on the outlap! nearly 30 minutes in the pits and they still have the lead!!!! Good god those guys are fast!

He came out of the pits in 44th overall and has made up 2 positions on track since. The tracker is pretty cool , if rudimentary and laggy in implementation.
