So as far as the combos. The Megane is king and ran the whole month 1st Combo.
2nd Combo would be either the

• DC5 @ Ascari or Deep Forest or
• Red Bull Jr @ Twin Ring or Autumn Ring both cars had a 2 week run.
• Renault Clio @ Ascari (from the track perspective Ascari ran twice)

3rd Combo would be either

• Evo Merc @ Nurburgring GP/F
• Alfa Romeo 8C @ Cape Ring

I think combo 2 and 3 should be up for votes by the participants.
I like the idea of DW to run it this way HERE.

If this champion of champions was done with a reverse division grid, it might make it more interesting. D8 folks in the front, D1 in the back, for every race. Make every race 20 minutes and only run 3, 1 of each of the 3 longest standing combo's for the month.

I'll add to that twist with a, double the point payout for each position from the usual Sunday point system, he who ends the night with the most points is the Champion of Champions for the March Season. Winner gets a hatcake. From somebody.

Ideas welcome. Need to finish those lingering details.

BTW, the 16th spot is supposed to be for a broadcaster, but I am not even sure who has the capability and ability to stream this live (which I think its the idea thrown in). No one has volunteer for this spot yet.

Unfortunately that will not happen. Rules are rules. If you wanted to race a similar car on SH tires then just pick the non race version. No need to blow all your cash on a race car at that point.

I'm pretty sure the car handles a lot differently against the street car even on the same tires.. Oh and of course it's fully gutted with safety equipment onboard and also a ricer wing which makes it a whole lot cooler to drive. The feel good factor is important y'know. Run a few Red Bull races and the cash will be back or just do more online practices the practice race you'll do would cover the cost anyway.

What is the process of broadcasting? I may be able to if it doesn't involve a bunch of equipment!

It requires something that can capture your PS3 screen, you can do it with a web cam (something that links directly to your computer monitor. To stream it online is the easy part. Either use www.livestream.com or www.ustream.tv and stream your desktop which has a full screen of the image (PS3 monitor through webcam). There may be better or higher quality ways but that is how I would do it given limited resources.

BTW do we have an update on the vote counts so far?

If the 86 was the street car or the AE variety I'd have quickly chosen it but far too many races last month were with super grippy/fast cars. Funnest combo's to me were the Clio @ Ascari and the 190E at Nur GP (hate that track!). I liked the RB Jr. but only on Motegi as it fit the car so well.

ElGato HD Game Capture Card. ~$180-200 but has built in options to stream via Twitch, UStream, YouTube and other at anywhere from 360p all the way to 1080i and 1080p. Expensive but easy, literally the click of a button. Easy to set up too.

I can't wait to see how voting turns out to see what we get.

There was one other suggestion that I just missed when I put the list together and it was just brought to my attention.

Mazda RX8 Type S '07 was suggested as well.

If anyone who has voted would like to change their vote to this car, it will be allowed. I apologize to whatbadgerseat for overlooking his suggestion.

Note: Any vote that was cast with a partial name of one of the three cars will count. The reason for requiring the entire car name for a suggestion is that there are 1200 cars to choose from and confusion is attained rather easily, especially when there are two or more cars that are one letter different in their description.

To those wanting to run on less grippy tires, NO. We will not be making an exception for one or any number of cars to run at a different spec than what the current tire spec requires.

Actually according to GTpedia, there are 2 the L10A '67, and the L10B '68 which is the more powerful of the 2 with 126 HP and 996 kilos!

My bad. There are four actually, two of which are named "Cosmo Sport" (one each for the "A" and "B" models). I had checked out the dealership prior to casting my vote and only saw the first pair. The version not named "Cosmo Sport" is named "110S" (with "L10A" or "L10B" in parenthesis afterward).
