Rac

races start on time, should leave early to your assigned division room.

There was no room listed yet, so went to my inbox, and another person said they were going to host, so had to add as a friend, logged into that room, started to practice to find out I was the only one in the room at the time. Went back and looked, and the D8 room was then posted, so had to go out and back into that room, and was to late to join the race. Not a PSP player, so I move around a bit slow on the system...do not know all of the ins-and-outs of it...my kids had to help me :)

D8 post was at 9:26

i would like to join n race tonight in west coast div if i can
@mrmudd583,
I'm not sure if you just wanted to race tonight in the WC Division or longer. If it is the latter,

Thanks for your interest!
We would love to have you in the league. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

The original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.

If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.
To avoid duplication, the currently claimed combinations can be found here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

D6 scorekeeping is compete. All that is needed to complete the data is best lap. Overall, it was a pretty solid night with only a couple disconnects at the start of round 2. Congrats to @rob1nh000d for his overall win, by winning the final race of the night.

EDIT:
Best laps entered as well. @ExoSphere64 will enter Round 2, Race 1 best times later, since I had some sort of loading error and had to disconnect during the race.

Another night in D6 filled with stupid mistakes from me, and being taken out while I was in 3rd in one race:mad:. The only race I actually posted a good result was Rd. 1 race 2, the one I won.

I wasn't the only one frustrated with tonight, after everything was done @goofytyler just voted and left.

Disconnected from lobby message came up for me right when qualifying started for the first race at Deep Forest Raceway. After that it went good. My highest finishing position was at Apricot hill with 2nd and lowest finishing position was 7th at Tsukuba. Had lots of fun. Clean racing in division 6.

Division 7 here, I disliked the Lancia Delta HF Integrale/ Deep Forest combo the most

Bayou Sim Drifter told us to post here so Elsbury can see it

Very fun run, my apologies for any bumps specially @VrapPlus thanks to @serge for hosting it was fun racing with you guys, it is quite intimidating to initiate a pass or a defensive move I must say, there's constant paranoia Of hitting some one. First time racing, hope I didn't mess up the flow in d2 all feedback is welcome.
No problems man, it happens. I had fun in D2, really put in perspective my pace and where I need to improve, best finish of 2nd place for me, other than that say in the middle of the field for most of the night. I will definitely practice more and improve my pace :).

I think these mistakes (Running wide in a corner, putting a wheel off n the grass, and missing braking points.) I keep making is one of the main reasons why I was relegated down to D6 all the way from D3 where I started back in January. This needs to stop.

If I want to challenge GT Academy, I can't be doing that. I know I have it in me, I just need to reduce mistakes.

D8 ran pretty good tonight. We didn't have any dc issues. @dcallnight pretty much dominated the night. Everyone ran really clean!

I was late setting up D8 because I was waiting on @Kylar One to set the room up. He never did show up. I started the room up at 9:24. Once everyone was in the same room the night went off without a hitch.

Great racing tonight D2! Got my 200th online win tonight, so that's good I guess. Combo's were awesome, and the battles were even better!

Thanks for the intense battles, seemed as though we weren't too far away from eachother all throughout the night! @ParkerMO125

Weirdest glitch happened to me tonight. On the first race of the 3rd combo (in practice before the race), everyone saw me in the Mazda (and it said I was in the Mazda on their screens), but I was in the Beamer on mine.

I just had to change cars back and forth to fix it... But it was really weird.

If you can't see everyone in the room don't race. Restart your PS3 and clear your cache before joining again. You might miss a round or two but that is better than the alternative. If the problem still persists after that then call it a day and pack up. Don't ruin other people's nights with that stuff.

Thanks @KTR5. I would like to say that it was awesome, the feeling of joining a new Division, and exciting meeting everyone and listening to old buddies, being together again, talking about adventures past. The spirits were high for the most part, only tainted by the difficulties we all felt with some of the combos. I have had my share of very average and seemingly poor races, and I am very sorry for those tonight who expressed having that experience. I feel I was VERY lucky to have the results come out as they did. And, of course, some people did much better than me in particular races. Congrats to all who did well and also to those who felt they did poorly (some comments), for living through it, becoming a better racer for it, and without both kinds of experiences we would not have each other to share this 'bigger than any one of us' adventure. It's a family and we can't have the good without the bad. Stick around, my night will suck next week, and yours will be amazing!!!

Everyone is GREAT just because they are here and working hard.

Also, thank you @KTR5 (Coach), for exhibiting advanced racing craft by prioritizing sharing our leading positions instead of pushing past me in the last race, possibly risking an off. I hope that I can see the big picture as well as you if the situation becomes reversed. Very 'advanced' of you.
