Great racing tonight in division 5. Clean racing from the new drivers. Got into grass during my first stint Grand Valley. My best finish was at Grand Valley in 2nd place for my 2nd stint.

1st off great battles in div1, don't want to sound like a broken record but I joined to be competive and every qualifying I'm several seconds behind, this is my first night in snail wear I did not even get a top5, did I crash, taken out by lag taken out by someone no! jst can't keep up, what kept me from racing snail every Sunday night was knowing I could do competive laps hav chances on top. 5's podiums. Etc, I'm having no more fun I'm jst. The Guy to fill the grid in div1, and I don't giv a fk what ppl say I should drive harder giv it a shot, I did extra practice this week, im driving my as s off every race, in on the edge yes I might hav a gd battle for a couple laps, but I'm on the edge jst trying to keep up, can't do consistent laps being on the edge. Should"nt a guy at least hav an opportunity to win a race, or at least get a top5, I jealous of other divs in snail here they get 8,9 guys on a podium some time during the six races, that's how every div should be

I have a similiar opinion lol it was my first league race ever and the only practice i ad was for red bull ring (4th qualifying)
I pretty much sucked at all other races
I think i would fit more into d2
Because when we had reverse grid and i started from 3rd etc i had the feeling of just stopping guys behind me

Nonetheless i found the first race very fun even tho i was like 2 to 3 seconds off the pace there

I understand, @Kgffy - I have been a grid/placeholder more than a few times, and once I realized I could learn (sometimes - I'm pretty hard headed, compounded by old) from the faster guys, I just worried about doing 'my best' rather than what place I came in. I know you're in a different world - those guys seldom make mistakes, but think of it this way, and you may have less over-pressure...

- admittedly paraphrased from what I say to my students -

I'll never ask you to do better than your best (On Sunday race night), but your best can always get better.

If someone in D1 needs help with Scores/Voting, shoot me a PM with the pole for each combo, finishing positions for the races, and who-voted-fer-what at the end of the night. I love summer break.

Gracious me!! What a spectacularly horrible night! I came prepared and I felt good before the races but I ended up totally blowing chunks. (Chunks SO owes me dinner!) I couldn't pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the bottom and yet... I still have a huge smile on my face. It happens. D4 is an amazing group and the competition really does come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. Division leveling is alive and well. Thank you to all that put in so much time to make sure we have a great time even when the feather of bad luck lands on you.

The racing was fantastic. When I wasn't thinking about asking Chunks to marry me, I got to witness a couple of battles that are the foundation of our League. Pure clean racing. Attacks made at the appropriate times and in between absolute patients. This group of rag tag racers has really matured over the years and I am still having a pretty damn good time! Thank you @Handlebar and @KTR5 for keeping the session honest. Overall one of the smoother nights as of late.


Rooked by the Man with the Magic Mustache!! Nice job and thanks @Handlebar for getting the replays up... I was just seconds behind you!!

For this first time in a long time, we finished within a reasonable time frame!

Props to the new guys for not giving any real problems. 👍 The only ones were just noob related, but thats OK. This was also the first official race night on my Fanatec CSW, and it performed flawlessly, apart from a strange rattle that I think was coming from the quick release on it. I put the set screw on it and now it sits rock-solid on the base, just like everything else on my rig. All I need is that Clubsport sequential shifter and I will be set.

Then again...

We did have one that had a different color on each of his cars, thats MY thing!

And of course, a "lagcident" that took me out of a halfway decent finish in the first race.

This wasn't first time I had been on the receiving end of one too.

I still don't have any real results to shout about, apart from fastest lap in the first race of the 3rd combo. There was one night that I was on it, but I guess that opportunity had come and gone...

This annoys me and it annoys me every time someone says it. The first time you didn't get a top 5? boo freakin' hoo. Talk to me when you've gone six months with one podium finish. You gave it a shot? Two weeks isn't much of a shot in my book. Do you expect to race with the fastest guys in the country in two weeks? You like racing in a division where you have just over twice as many podiums as the next guy in line? I can see how you like that. That tells me that it's time to challenge yourself.

You may very well not be one of the five fastest guys here (and those guys are insanely fast) but you are one of the 15 fastest guys here and guess where that puts you?
