@Dragonwhisky
D3 data is entered. Unfortunately, I did not save the replays for RD1 / RC1 and RD2 / RC2. If anyone in D3 can enter the best times and gaps, it would help out tremendously. Total times for those races are already entered.
There is a complete replay package for D3 in the replay folder.

I believe I have both those replays so I can send them to you.

S.N.A.I.L. Color and Number Chart

This post contains the rules governing color and number choice and instructions on requesting a choice.

While choosing a color and number combo is not required, we ask that all of our races to do so. This is done for a number of reasons. From easier driver identification to adding uniqueness in a spec race series. Here are a couple of rules, tips and instructions on submitting your choice.

The rules:
  1. The driver with a greater number of races participated in has seniority over a racer with less, giving them rights to a particular color/number.
Tip: Have another color in mind just in case.
  2. Any color and any combo is allowed, so long as it does not match or present a hard distinction from another driver in your division.
Tip: Look at the divisions above and below, if you or another who is looking to be promoted and they hold seniority, be prepared to switch colors.
  3. Please try not to duplicate numbers with another racer across the series.
  4. Please, enter a paint chip and not a general color. (IE, WC Mica Blue, as opposed to Blue) This will insure that we get the maxiumum amount of use of hues in any given color.

Instructions:
  1. Read the current Color/Number Chart first!
  2. First decide on a body and rim color combo.
  3. Next click HERE and fill out the form
  4. To find when your SNAIL start date. Column Y "SNAIL birth date"

The most current lists:
Sorted by Division
Sorted by Number
Sorted by GTP_ID

If you are in a different division than what is currently listed, it would be helpful to submit a new form, even if you don't change your color or number.

Special thanks to @Rallywagon for being the previous Color / Number Coordinator.

Links have been updated.
Is it possibly to change my body color mid season or do I have to wait until next season?

Hello guys I would like to join S.N.A.I.L.

@Kross24

Here's your official S.N.A.I.L. Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below. Now if you've actually read this, post a :dunce: on the main thread.

6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

Looks like D5 is fairly stable - make sure you have invites in for all hosts, backups, etc.

@USERID_77a23 - can you host tonight?

@goofytyler - make sure you have me, User, @ExoSphere64 , and @CoachMK21 - those are the 'Most likely to Host' - if you have space on PSN, add all the regulars in your division if possible.

Our numbers have been fine, but don't forget to add the hosts for the division above you also.
I have all 3 of them so I should be ok. if anything does happen i'll let you know

Just got on, does it matter that all my cars are different colours? Let me know and I'll change them now if I need to for tonight's races...

It's 1:40am right now and I woke up again because of jet lag. So I just gonna recap a bit on what happened so far.

Arrival day, 16th August, we got picked up at the airport. Got driven to Silverstone. Not much drama except I had a bottle of water in hand and I kept sipping to the point where I needed the toilet bad and they including the staff driving were doing everything they can to make me burst ==

Anyway miraculously I held it in and made it to the track without stopping. We had a few papers to sign and we were all off the leash for the day at roughly 4pm local. The hotel we stayed in the first night was cool, it's inside the race track facility called Snoozebox. We checked out the track and the racing going on, some radical sr3s, GT Cup was racing as well so essentially gt cars and also some formula car club racing like SCCA.
Also had trouble getting a good sleep so I went to the hotel common room and hanged out without some local racers and had some Jack Daniels. There was a sled set up with Gran Turismo in that lounge area and one of the guys went over and started playing. They were all a bit tipsy and his buddy at the table yelled at him "you're not working for the city council so stop cutting the grass mate" cracked me up so hard at that moment. And that was the highlights of arrival day.

Sunday saw us do medical and benchmarking our fitness as well as some photoshoots. We were all deceived by the term "warm up" which ended up as a 5.6 km run around the exterior of the track. Not much to talk about apart from our lungs were burning and were tired as hell after we were done.
We did some photoshooting later on and during the last bit where we were doing a group photo in the F1 garages, a fart from one of the Snails broke the silence (not gonna mention who lol) while we were trying to keep a stern face for a cool shot. Everyone was struggling to hold back the laugh, giggling and snorting here and there. The production team couldn't hear apparently and the director Jeff Zwart asked " serious faces please we're almost done here" only made it worse. Someone bursted out at the end before he said "cut" and we all bent down laughing.

Fast forward to the end of day, all of the top 12 went for a track walk on the stowe circuit (not part of the schedule). We all went voluntarily to check out the track and shared views and tips as well as cracking jokes along the way which goes to show how friendly this years' competitors are. At least for the time being, I hope it stays that way trough the week and enjoy ourselves as much as possible. That's it for now folks.

Follow me on Twitter, the link is in my sig. And/or add me on Facebook to follow closer to the to what goes on. I'll do my best to share things throughout the days without exposing secrets they don't want us to put on the worldwide web.
Have a good race guys
