Everyone interpretates things the way the want or the way they can. Anyways, put me in whatever list you want.
Schmiggzy, my friend.... most of us in SNAIL are here because we want competitive clean racing on-line. A few guys have dreams to become real racers and a few guys are actually real racers. The TEAM SNAIL are all volunteers and put a great deal of time into this to make it as pleasant for everybody as they can - therefore they have to set some rules and regulations in place to make sure things are handled consistently. For us to compete in SNAIL we sign up and accept the rules and we race to the best of our ability. If that puts us in a division where we don't win all the time - that's ok. The winners get moved up and the guys at the bottom move down. Next season my division looks different and I make new friends. Sunday nights I race in my division. During the week I race with my other friends. In the end I don't have to sand-bag because I end up in a group where I win some and I lose some. So, my friend, make peace with your division - next season will be better.

It doesn't seem right that @GTP_Vertigo wasn't selected to compete in this. He was leading D5 until he was moved to D4 mid-month.
You know, this has been bothering me as well. I'm currently the 8th alternate for D5. If any one should have the honor to be in the ROC for D5 it should be veritgo for his accomplishments. I just hate to see some one olses hard work be in vein.

@zer05ive @Dragonwhisky @Oshawa-Joe

Why am I not in the drivers list?

As Coach has already pointed out, when any driver posts in the thread that you no longer intend to run Sunday nights, they get moved to inactive status for Sunday night. If you want to be returned to active status, you will need to follow the instructions for inactive drivers found here.

As for your question about drivers who have not raced that are still on the driver's list. You should read this and it will explain why those drivers are there and what status they are listed under.

Rednose, thanks for your kind words but understand something. My problem with September's D3 IS NOT the fact that I can't win! Its the fact that I can't even follow you guys!!! :P

I would like to thank @JLBowler for introducing me to the family. Division 8 sounds very good as I'm still figuring out this game and I don't want to get in the way of the big fish :)
@SHOCKY_WELL , thank you and friend request sent.
I'll be practicing the combos now for the next 72 hours, non stop :D
Make sure to do it online and post room numbers here so other SNAILS can join and even give you pointers/advice

Yes the upper division guys are great. They won't criticize you they will tell you how to do it better. You can also watch there driving. It really helps.
Congratulations to @McTrucker, @aerolite, @jamilla for moving up. Hopefully I'll move up soon.

I was just looking at the updated drivers list and i added McTrucker000 and aerolightflight to my friends list on PSN. When i tried to add the PSN id Ogg_42 it said "The online ID you entered has not been registered. Check that you are using the correct online ID." The GT planet id name to Ogg_42 is Jamilla. I sent him a message to his profile to add me to his friends list.

Welcome to D-8. It's a great group of guys. I just finished my 1st season and am quite happy in the division.

Promotion and relegation is complete for this month. The driver's list has been updated. All drivers should make sure to take a look at the new list. If there are any mistakes, such as name changes or other clerical errors, please let me know and I will get it fixed asap. Drivers were moved to level the numbers in each division and it was done just like last month, strictly by the numbers. @CoachMK21 can go ahead and update the team SNAIL page @Dragonwhisky can go ahead and archive what needs to be archived.

NOTE: For some reason, the driver's list is no longer at the top of the page. It's a few posts down on the page now.
well would you look at that, i got promoted :embarrassed::cheers: @Nail-27 im coming for you:mischievous:

I know we will be seeing you next month, I'm missing you guys already! I still can't go after @BayouSimDrifter as he's gone to D6, that was going to be my goal if I was moved to D7:lol: Guess I'm going to have to try on Monday nights instead.

i'd like to try this out: PSN: gaudeamus_xy

@gaudeamus_xy

Here's your official S.N.A.I.L. Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below. Now if you've actually read this, post a :dunce: in this thread.

6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to S.N.A.I.L. :cheers:
