LOL

The driver's list has been updated. New drivers that submitted time trials have been sent their division placement message. There were no mid-month promotions or relegations this month.

I urge all drivers to take a look at the list and make sure that they are listed in the correct division and that their PSN ID and GTPlanet ID is listed and spelled correctly. If you notice a problem, please let me know via private conversation.

Please welcome @a_ce14 as our newest member of Division 8.

Ok everyone so I have read all the pm messages sent to me and the posts on thread towards me and I have basically narrowed down every comment or idea into these categories
1 scheduling
2 class execution
3 track diagnosis
4 class time
5 drivetrain control (FF, FR, etc)
6 driving technique
7 racecraft
8 division camps ( D4 camp, D5 camp,)
9 sign up list
10 one on one instruction
As of now this seems to be the primary focuses of the people who wish to learn and me willing to be a teacher all I can say is WOW..... I never thought of it as being this serious lol. I didn't know it was that helpful to people and now I understand. So I need to take it much more seriously. I don't know if I'll be doing many Sunday night races because if it all but hey I care more about snail growing in competition and growing as a community simply because to me racing is the only life I want to live and I enjoy racing more than anything and if I learned anything about racing it's that being helpful to others goes a long way so I'll try my best to take the GT Race camp mode seriously buy I definitely want the fun to stay in it too and I like the free spirited side of it too. I'll have to buckle down and really work on this old project of mine and I want to see if my crazy life will stay stable enough for me to teach more seriously so everyone in snail can grow. I thank you everyone for the criticism cause now I have a general overall idea on how to focus the camp. Any other opinions I'll also read into. So keep the info coming. Thank you
Race hard. Race fast. Race SNAIL

I really need a inexpensive seat for my GT driving force wheel and pedals. So over the bean bag chair...Although it one of the faster bean bag chairs I've owned, it time to take the next step :) Any advice where to get an affordable set up ?

Agree the junk yard route. Also try any local autobody shop. They sometimes have cars which have been totaled and the customer does not have any insurance. Offer to remove yourself and the price maybe free.
Do you also need a steering wheel stand? check out the list here. Also includes racing rigs.

Hello all, I'd like to sign up for S.N.A.I.L racing.

@Ron Williams

Here's your official S.N.A.I.L. Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below. Now if you've actually read this, post a :dunce: in this thread.

6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.

I know I said I wouldn't share information again but I don't think anyone can get upset about this. An update on prizes should be coming tonight.
You should share information all the time you feel like it just making sure you do it in a nice, friendly, helpful and courteous way. You may not believe it but I truly admire your commitment and the will you have to keep this freight train running. You just need to understand that sometimes you're not in the mood and during those times, just keep your fingers away from the keyboard.
