"I know of some that took multiple IR filings for them to understand that my rear bumper or my inside quarter panel is not their brakes. Some learn and improve some may not."

Interesting comment from the do as I say not as I do guy! Just saying!

Still curious as to whom has the most penalty points accumulated that is still current in SNAIL.
Please return that page!
God knows how much I love you WolfSatz but its sooooo true, ahahahahahahah. I never met anyone that speaks racecraft so much and can become pure evil on the track like you, eheheheheh.

I am really getting sick of dealing with 11-12 year olds in my classroom, and coming here for relaxation, but feeling like I am still dealing with 'boy problems' of my hormonal students.

So much for enjoying the climate- PMs go a VERY long way.

Took me awhile to learn that (sorry!) but I think I am happier.

YMMV.

Another point...

What about considering podiums (going for win), total races, total penalties... But even better, what about worrying less about the past axes-to-grind or Prize A's to win, and worry more about what we can do to help the league - volunteering for jobs, helping, answering questions, and stuff like that?

Publicly shaming is the way to go, right? Can we all just grow up? IRs were filed by the sounds of it, penalties would be handed out appropriately, so what more do you want?? If you got beef with someone there's this cool private messaging feature. The thread is already cluttered up with this childish stuff.....

This isn't a stab at you specifically @Wolfsatz, it's relevant to everyone here.

and to your point.. i did PM him.. so that stabbing it totally uncalled for; but since he is trying to murk my reputation if we do have one as a driver.. well then I do feel the sarcastic necessity of defending my self with evidence.

Anyway, it is totally childish that a few are trying to make an educational point of a comment made earlier and then someone else tries to spin it totally out of contest. but it is a free world.

This freaking aliens have the OBLIGATION of teaching us, mere mortals, how to be half as fast as they are :grumpy:
Actually, they are under NO OBLIGATION to teach us anything. If they do so I assume it is because they care enough to help us mere mortals but their reasons are their own. We should be thankful if and when they take the time and energy to impart their wisdom and experience to help us improve. My 2 cents.:)

I'm not at the speed of Lloydz or others like him, but I've tried to help people, only to see little effect. I think that it's to difficult to teach someone how to be faster when you can't meet them in person and be in the car with them.

I think that many (most?) fast drivers are simply not good at teaching. Maybe they don't even realize what it is they do. I have a feeling k1utch is the exception.

I'm sorry guys, I made an error with the pp and hp numbers for the Aston Martin as my car was set on 97% power for some reason!

True figures are 528 pp and 535 hp.

Could be. I know I'm bad at teaching/explaining things to people in real life.

In the Red room, our host, @racingchamp30 disco'd while on grid. Then only 3 were able to go. The remaining 12 were froze on the grid. Pretty crazy.

I didn't want the room as fixed host just in case. We got the black screen with the GT logo so i left thinking it was me. The whole room went through it so MajorBlixem became host.

I'm interested in joining.

@aLmk

Here's your official S.N.A.I.L. Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. Send a PSN friend request to the Race Director or Primary Host from your assigned SNAIL Division. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below. Now if you've actually read this, post a :dunce: in this thread.

6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.
