Our division did not lose a prize last week. I did. I lost it for the division and myself. I made a couple of bad decisions and a couple of mistakes that were in violation of SNAIL racing rules. This is the great equalizer. Collecting a win by breaking the rules is not a win. Like every form of competition known to man, there are rules and consequences. I and I alone blew it and next week and I will be a better driver because of it it. The racing incidents and all the work the stewards do are why we are the single most successful racing League in the history of all things Gran Turismo.

You may have won the night but even if you pick with out the divisions input. We all enjoy the racing more knowing that with in the division it was picked and usually race it harder and tighter. Sorry that you lost the Prize A tom

In my opinion, insofar as Prize Winners are concerned, there is no such thing as "inheriting" a prize. As Exosphere stated, winning anything while collecting penalties is no longer winning. The folks that did win, on the record, did it clean. They didn't inherit anything. They earned it.

I was going to post something along the same lines as this. It's like saying you lost $10 million that you stole from the bank. You didn't earn it cleanly in the first place, it was never yours.
