Did any other divisions have incorrect grids at Bathurst? The data entry guy for D4 has found two mistakes that the game made with the starting grid. One is based off qualifying times and the other is in the reverse grid race.
If you're doing data and notice this, let me know about it. I will try and go through replays tomorrow to see how it really worked.
I just noticed in the reverse grid race at Bathurst, it showed me starting in 6th, gmraces in 5th, when it should be the other way around. The reason for this is because the rows setup side by side, not staggered. We are on the same row, and in the replay, I do show up in the 5th place grid box, as marked on the track, which is right. The timing screen is wrong because there must be a very minute difference in the position of the grid box. Just a heads up for those doing data.
Great shots! Your comments about $hells is correct; In order to earn them, you have to post something here on the public thread. That's the only way we can track things, so unfortunately things posted in the divisional conversations don't count. But why not just post last week's pics here now so that you can earn $hells for your efforts? Better late than never!Ok! here are the pictures for D2 from last Sunday! Very fun night with great battles and great crashes(including myself of course). I'm still new at this so it will still improve from week to week. I took a lot of shots and sometime different angles from great battles or funny situations. Hope youll enjoy it. I will try to tag everyone but i am missing "Babystig" s GT planet ID?.
And i would also like to claim my shells from last weeks picture that i posted in the D2 thread if i can! But i am aware now that HERE is the place to post them. @Falango @gmraces @Gouletzky @gtr3123 @gulin24 @MSgtGunny @MikeGrove @ONESPACE @turnupdaheat @Xradkins View attachment 349110 View attachment 349111 View attachment 349112 View attachment 349113 View attachment 349114 View attachment 349115 View attachment 349116 View attachment 349117 View attachment 349118 View attachment 349119 View attachment 349120 View attachment 349121 View attachment 349122 View attachment 349123 View attachment 349124 View attachment 349125 View attachment 349126 View attachment 349127 View attachment 349128 View attachment 349129 View attachment 349130 View attachment 349131 View attachment 349132 View attachment 349133 View attachment 349134 View attachment 349135 View attachment 349136 View attachment 349137 View attachment 349138 View attachment 349139 View attachment 349140 View attachment 349141 View attachment 349142 View attachment 349143 View attachment 349144 View attachment 349145 View attachment 349146 View attachment 349147 View attachment 349148 View attachment 349149 View attachment 349150 View attachment 349151 View attachment 349152 View attachment 349153 View attachment 349154 View attachment 349155 View attachment 349156 View attachment 349157 View attachment 349158 View attachment 349159 View attachment 349160 View attachment 349161 View attachment 349162 View attachment 349163 View attachment 349164 View attachment 349165 View attachment 349166 View attachment 349167 View attachment 349168 View attachment 349169 View attachment 349170 View attachment 349171 View attachment 349172 View attachment 349173 View attachment 349174 View attachment 349175 View attachment 349176 View attachment 349177 View attachment 349178 View attachment 349179 View attachment 349180 View attachment 349181 View attachment 349182 View attachment 349183 View attachment 349184 View attachment 349185 View attachment 349186

Will fix it tonight.SLK time trial settings are off.. minimum weight should be 1325kg instead of 1335kg..
Project Cars got pushed back to June according to gamestop.
I figured that out yesterday. It's "just" a glitch that the timing doesn't know who is in what position at the start. It's really minor and doesn't actually screw up the grid, just the scoring at the start, so the track is still available (but not encouraged) for selection.
that date is not confirmed for the USWrong. They just announced gold status today and set final release dates. May 7/8 for EU, May 12 for US.
I think this is due because the starting grid slots are even, meaning side by side instead of staggered.
Yeah on PC. I've been testing it since March 2012.You gettin it @dabneyd ?
According to the development director it is.that date is not confirmed for the US
For any among us ...... myself included ....... who don't really understand auto engineering principles. I just saw this 1930's video about understanding differentials, and how they work. Those of you already Enlightened - please allow a positive discussion about the subject. (Hope it works)

That's awesome Tex! I miss these old cheesy how to's. I've got the entire book series of how to build stuff from the 60's. I never use them but the pictures are hilarious!
got a link to that?
Yeah the books I have are more on construction and auto repair. The pictures have the shirt sleeves rolled up with a pack of smokes inside or a cigarette hanging out of the mouth while he hammers 2 pieces of wood together. The auto repair stuff would work great if you have a carburetor, but safety glasses and steel toed boots were optional same with cover alls and gloves same working while we smoke with a beer on the fender. And yes these are professional how to books! For many years - mostly pre-youtube, I built "stick and tissue" freeflight planes - balsa and tissue, rubber band, no remote controls. These were immensely popular in the 30's, and again in the late 40's and early 50's. Some of the articles that I dug up online were not only informative, but quite inventive and creative, especially given the shortage of materials - rubber and balsa were in short supply during WWII, so 'bristol board' (aka posterboard) was used, gliders became more popular, and so on. Every basic design that I used and followed carefully worked, some of them quite well.
I made my own wind tunnel using an article from Air Trails (May, 1942) to test some smaller, electric R/C conversions I made out of previously rubber-power-only designs. The wind tunnel worked great, and some of the planes even worked.
Ok so do you no anything about wheel support on ps4Yeah on PC. I've been testing it since March 2012.
According to the development director it is.
