Good question. Before I elaborate on an answer, read this post from a few months ago. When you get to the end, you'll see another hyperlink. Click it. Then repeat do the same thing one more time until you get to a post from almost a year ago. Those posts will probably do a better job of explaining my perspective than I could right now considering that it's almost 7am and I've yet to reach my bed lol
I honestly think that just the idea of Project CARS has done the Gran Turismo community a huge favor. There's no way that PD can afford to take forever on GT7 like they have on previous versions. They were only able to get way with that before because there was no other threat to them in the market. However, starting on Tuesday (launch of Project CARS on PS4), every day that passes with no GT7 equals PD losing market share to Slightly Mad Studios on their own turf (the Playstation ecosystem). Yes, Forza 5 was a launch title for Xbox One, but the primary battle back then was PS4 vs. Xbox One, and Playstation was still able to win without its premier racing title. Oh yeah, that reminds me of another post on this subject. Please let me know if you have any other questions, concerns, or suggestions.

Agreed,I would like to see Polyphony/Sony add an Alpha-numeric numbering system to an update along with at least 3 spaces for for the numbering.It would give us a lot more choices.

I guess now is as good a time as any to elaborate on this post from last week. At this point, it doesn't look like we'll get the pre-launch Logitech support that many of us were hoping for, but please reply to this post if you plan on buying Project CARS on PS4 anyways.
Also, since @cmbeal317 is no longer running the SNAIL [Enduro] Series, there's now a big hole in our weekly schedule. So if you reply that you're getting Project CARS on the PS4, please also state if you have any interest in a Project CARS series on Saturday nights.

I meant to ask you about the number.I chose "47" because it was the year of my Mom's birth.We both signed up about the same time(I know you had been with S.N.A.I.L. before) and when we first raced together,I noticed you had the same number.It's all good,as our paint schemes are about as far apart as Pluto is to the Sun.LOL
If they add logitech support, I'll buy it on the ps4 as well. If you go from full time (3 weeks raced in one season) to part time (0-2 races for that season), you only need to race one time per season to remain 'active' on the roster.
If nobody has been seen or heard from for an entire month, they are dropped off of the active list.
It is tough enough to keep the divisions balanced. I am happy to see you coming back - I hope we see you more often.

I am ahead of the posse! Being from this side of the pond means I have to stay up late to race with you guys but, on the flip side, it allowed me get my hands on Project CARS before most of you and I've being playing it for the last few nights. 👍
