Thanks major and red! Great event, can't wait to see your combo choice for the next break;)

So I've caught the bug with collecting 1:18 scale diecast cars. It all started with these ones back in March, and I've already got myself up to 26 cars! I've recently added a 2006 Impreza STi, 2014 Red Bull RB10 driven by Vettel, 1989 McLaren MP4-5 driven by Prost, 2008 BMW M3, both 1996 Williams FW18 cars driven by Hill and Villeneuve, 1997 Williams FW19 driven by Villeneuve, and plenty of others.

I also had a go tonight with light painting. If you are into photography, and haven't tried it, look it up and give it a go, it's a lot of fun! You basically shoot a long exposure shot (20 seconds or more) with as little light as possible in the environment, but use a mobile source of light to "paint" where you'd like the light to fall on your subject. You can get really great results with it, and if you review a picture and think you may need more light somewhere, just go do it again and focus on that spot! Here's a shot of the STi trying light painting using only a flashlight app on my phone to provide the light. I was trying to drop the light where the hard edges are on the car, to really bring out the lines and give nice streaking highlights.

It was great last night, 2 full rooms and alot of battling between me and @STEAMER62 Hope we do another special sunday night endurance again. Great battling everyone.

Thanks! The lineup post has been updated! :)

Plan ahead - this will be a longer than normal night of racing - the combos all push the 12 minute mark, and will likely exceed that for all races.

Do what you can (personally) to minimize your preventable delays between races, and we will all benefit. When things go smoothly, we can pull this off without drama or difficulty. I'm betting we do, but planning ahead will help the odds of success.

That rotated fast eh? Didn't see any fluid on track, brake lockup? @CoachMK21

He didn't notice any fluid either, but there were 3 other cars that crashed in that same spot not too long after he did. And I talked to another driver that was out there when JC was and said he saw a car dripping fluids. So, we concluded that it must have been some fluid.

I had to like it. It looked like fun. 👍

^^ Fact.

Although accidents are always dangerous and at times possibly life threatening, I think many of us still glamorize them in the back of our minds. I know I do and I have no problem admitting it. To me, every single aspect of racing is appealing, glamorous and/or romantic in some way.
