Watched it... Like most F1 races, once the race starts, if you have the lead after lap one, there isn't much passing for the lead. That is the one unfortunate reality in F1, strategy and tire selection are more important than actual on track racing. Give me NASCAR for excitement & Tudor for suspense.

bahh, nascar is only good for participating. Never watching. I've turned into a big BTCC fan though. Lots of excitement in those races for sure. and of course, there is rally racing. Which is good for both excitement and Suspense, and a lot of fun to go spectate.

I have trouble getting the BTCC here, so I got into the DTM instead, which is very good.
Along with WEC and F1, that's about all the motorsport I can watch without having to stop working...

That is the Nice thing about the WRC. A lot of their content is published online. And if you pay for an account, you can watch in car live I believe. Not within my budget of course, but it is neat to watch a live race in that manner. Its been a minute since I've watched the BTCC, Speed used to cover it, but they sold out to Fox One Sports BS. I'll have to see if I can find an internet outlet for it. We are waiting for fiber to house to be ran in our neighborhood. Currently a company is working on getting approval from our township. Once its in, we will be over 1 gig upload and download and will be dropping Comcast like a skunky Budweiser.

We are aiming to go to next year's BTCC race at Croft (Northeast England - Roman/Viking/Old Stuff, good beer area) and then the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June, 2016. If Goodwood falls through, I'm looking into renting a Caterham for a few track days somewhere fun.

Yeah, DTM is also really good at putting their stuff online fast.
Last race I couldn't watch live and by the time I was back home, they have about 15 videos posted, including both races in their entirety.
Couple that with a good torrent site for motorsports and it's easy to follow it.

I'm in the same boat as you concerning fiber. It's been promised, the work is being done but so far, it hasn't reached me...
My sister is on it already and it's glorious. Slowest package has 250MB upload and download speeds...

I know there is a "like" button - where is the "Love it!" button? I like the look of the track layout as well.

Great looking track - I really liked the turn signal use for giving a pass, and what looks like asking for a pass? Or is it indicating you ARE going to pass the car? Either way - very civilized.

The Clio is MR isn't it? I wish there were more MR hatch style cars here in the states.

Thanks and yes it is a fun track to run on. It is quite a technical layout and not an out and out power track so it suits the little Clio quite well. Although I was screaming out for more power a lot of the time but I suppose that would be a pretty standard wish no matter how many ponies you have under the hood.

As far as the turn signals are concerned, they just help following drivers understand your intentions and when there is such a mix of cars on track including some very expensive and rapid race machinery it is important to behave in a civilized fashion. A lot of the drivers who attended have passed very favourable comments about the good behaviour throughout the day and it makes for a safer and more enjoyable experience and I can't wait for the next one to come around in October.

Only the V6 Clios were MR. They are very noticeable as they have wider wheel arches that I think widen the overall car by more than 8 inches! The one he has is like the 172 in GT6 but a lesser model from what I can tell.

Yeah the V6 Clios are MR and no my 172 isn't a lesser model than the one in GT6 in which it's called the Clio R.S. 2.0 16v and mine is the exact same spec.

sorry I was not sure if it was a 172. Sweet car! I keep thinking about picking up a 182 trophy for when I end up back in the UK.

Yeah the 182 Trophy is a special car but good ones a very expensive compared to decent 172/182 Cups. For the money you'd be spending on a Trophy you'd be in the same territory as a Megane R26 F1 which has a lot more tuning potential and may be the direction I may be going next.

I am officially retiring from SNAIL. No coming back this time. The last time I put GT6 in my PS3 was June 3rd and even then I barely put the disc in the console. I just don't have the... drive ()... to play GT6 anymore. I was even thinking about trading it to GameStop to help fund buying a PS4 which I'm getting this week.

I don't have any issues with SNAIL either. I am leaving because of my lack of enjoying GT6. You all are awesome people.

Maybe I'll come back for GT7 if it proves to be better than GT6. For now I say thank you all for the fun these past... I forget... two or three years? Oh well. I'll still be lurking in the shadows, coming out when I deem it safe.
