Request to join SNAIL spec racing

@Fariza

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Hey guys, I would like to join.

Pacific time zone if that matters

I should have picked the Midget II d to race.I had hoped that the Combo I chose would survive to see a couple of nights.I didn't even get to run it.
Special Stage seems to get voted off after one race a lot. I think it has to do with the walls and limited passing opportunities. Not to say it was a bad combo, I enjoyed practicing it. (I also wasn't fortunate enough to race Sunday.) I've just noticed no matter what goes to Special Stage, it's gone the next week.

Currently tracking 15 Incident Reports
We have one prize winner with a racing incident being investigated by the stewards. This may, obviously, change the winner of that prize. The provisional prize A winner is asked to hold off on making a selection until the stewards can review all incidents that involve the provisional prize A winner and any potential prize A winners.
The target deadline for the Steward Reviews, this week, is Wednesday night by 10PM Eastern. The Steward Summary will be posted as soon as possible, following completion of reviews.
:@: SNAIL Stewards, please make your way to The Incident Review Scoring.
The IR Submission Form is now closed.

The prize B and C winners are clear to make their selection, starting with the prize B winner declaring if they want to keep or pass the freeze.

Prize B @WSK96 Prize C @ConnorWolf

@WSK96 You have until 11 PM ET tonight to choose to use the freeze or pass it. If you fail to make a pick by that time, prizes will go to the default order and @ConnorWolf will have the freeze and prize B will go up for the suggestion and voting process.

D5 Scores and Votes are in!
Congratulations to the evening's provisional winner @McTrucker who reached the podium four times and tallied up 87 points. 10 people showed up, but unfortunately @Raw10_2u had to back out due to connection issues. The remaining 9 completed all six combos.

This kind of flew by without mention, but this post by @o8_jedi was our 99,000th post. We are less than 1,000 away from the 100,000th post. Maybe @Dragonwhisky would have a more statistical method of predicting when this would happen, but if our last 1,000 posts are any indication (98k on Nov. 4th), we'll hit the big 100k around Christmas.

Happy BD to you! Today is mine! I'll check out what PD sent me.
Hoiii @Wolfsatz , Happy Birthday, enjoy it :cheers::cheers:

The voting was tight - your combo was definitely not blown out of the water. It was an interesting choice.

That track is always a challenge for a car that has moderate or high understeer. The Lotus Elise race cars or other medium fast cars with a slightly lose tail will work well on that track.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY @Wolfsatz !

3 cents Canadian.... I loved the combo and was sad to see it go

I thought it handled well in close quarters, and provided close racing.Oh well, you can't win 'em all!Next time(if there is one)I will be choosing the Midget II d!

My statistical analysis agrees. 👍

We are officially entered in ChumpCar races at two of the most iconic tracks in the US, Daytona and Circuit of the Americas. Entries for both events are highly desired and limited, so once the entry period opened at 12:01 am ET today, we got our entries in. At this point, we are definitely racing our 1989 Mazda RX-7 at Daytona. For the COTA race, we might be trailering the Volvo from Rochester, NY to Austin, TX.

We'll also be racing at Watkins Glen in the Volvo. Other races are still be decided.

Happy Birthday Wolf.
Looking forward to your return to SNAIL!

Just wanted to say thank you for all of the things that have have done for Snail. I couldn't believe that I won the GrandStand Challenge V and I am very excited to get the wheel stand, and plan on adding the seat module when funds will permit.

The seat module and the pedal invert brackets will make a huge difference.

I think that was the same track i picked, don't remember which direction, but when i picked the Chevrolet SSR truck we raced and drivers voted it off.
