The S.N.A.I.L. community has a Sugar-Sync account where all replays from all divisions are uploaded to. This is so that all the race stewards have access to every replay in case a race complaint is filedja'.

Division 1 (AKA area 51 or D6) Race Report

Tonight we had a good turnout in D1/51/6. Adventuruss put on a clinic tonight with a dominant win for the night. Had some great battles throughout the pack with plenty of side by side racing. At one point Owens and I were side by side for almost half a lap at Laguna. As the Data Specialist for D1 one of the things that's amazing to look at is how close everyone is in speed in D1. For example the third race tonight the top 8 all ran times within .5 of each other. Often the fastest lap is not set by the race winner but someone halfway through the field. Anyways it was a great night of racing.

To my knowledge, the way the private Division lounges work you cannot have more than 15 drivers, unless one driver comes in under the divisional account name. Not sure what policy is on that.
 
It's with a mixed feeling of happiness and sadness that i see everybody reporting amazing racing times last night. Unfortunately, i can't say the same as my battle for 3rd place overall was suddenly kicked off track.

You are correct. The only way 16 can fit into a private lounge is if the lounge owner is one of the drivers. I could give the someone access to the D5 account, but do we really want 16 on the grid anyways? I'm somewhat surprised there weren't any complaints of lag or connection issues in D5 last night with 15 on the grid.

I think the more sensible option is to have a driver on standby to get promoted to D4. Considering SoCalRacer310's dominant performance last night, I think it's clear that it should be him. In fact, he was next in line to get promoted to D4 month anyways.

SoCalRacer310, please confirm that you've read this and will be ready for promotion to D4 if we have space limitations in D5 next Sunday night (you already have access to the D4 lounge). This would be viewed as a regular promotion, but your points from D5 would not carry over to this month's D4 championship points race. However, that would not be held against you during the promotion and relegation discussions at the end of June.

Preseason race June 11th - Tuesday night at 9pm Eastern.​

The Open-Wheel Shoot Out involves using one Open-Wheel type car for each weekly event; run on 3 different tracks. Each combo will include a 2-4 timed lap qualifying session followed by a 15 minute race. We should be done by 10:30pm Eastern. This series is open to all drivers. Joining S.N.A.I.L. and running the Division Placement Time Trial is not mandatory.

Division 4 Race Report​


All I can say is WOW!! Fantastic night of racing in D4! With several new drivers from other divisions and new to S.N.A.I.L., the evenings races went very smooth. We will have to wait for the official results but we may have a first time over-all winner and it also looks like 90% of the division found the podium in at least one race. Great racing was had by all and other notable moments were points were very close and the racing even closer. 6 races and 6 different winners tonight!! For me personally, one of the best nights of racing I have had in a few weeks. (Collected win #6!) I had several intense, sweat inducing fights that will keep me awake until late tonight! Again, I just had the time of my life tonight... Even fought hard for a couple of 8th places!! A huge thanks to the entire D4 gang and a special thanks to goat and moper for helping keep the flow going all night! This is going to really be a fun month:tup:👍👍

D5 Director Report​

Once again we had another great night in D5. Plenty of new drivers tonight and we had a full room too, which made tonight extremely competitive. Lots of very clean and close racing tonight! Hopefully all the new drivers got a good impression for the first time and I hope we'll be able to get this many out again next Sunday!

Division 2 Director Report​

We had a great night of racing in D2 tonight. Round one has been around for a while, but it's still quite fun and the racing keeps getting closer. Ice_Warden got the pole and won the second race after something happened to him in the first race. He can answer those questions. The BMW at Rome Reverse is a welcome change from the Alfa (yes, I'm man enough to admit my mistake there) and that kink is still an accident inducer. Jlbowler and I managed to finish third and second respectively in both races and Ice_Warden picked up another win. Finally, at Nurb GP/D with the NSX, Ice_Warden picked up his third win of the night while tcrash15 got the pole and won the first race.

Thanks for the reports, guys! Last night was a banner night for S.N.A.I.L. with 56 drivers racing simultaneously across five divisions. 👍

Who else is watching the E3 press conferences? I just checked in to watch the EA conference and they show a little trailer for the new Need For Speed Rivals. Pretty cool, might pick it up. But then they show movie trailer for a live action Need For Speed movie. Since Need For Speed is where I started my short racing career, im pretty hyped up for this. Sorry for getting a bit off topic but I thought I should share this. :dopey:

Is the "Rivals" concept similar to the PS4's Drive Club idea where you compete for fastest lap times against the online community? Or can you actually race head to head? Hopefully the latter is the case.

I don't know the concept entirely but im sure its a little of both but mainly head to head racing. Im more interested in the movie. :D

As for the stream, doesnt the conference for Sony start in 4 hours?

Also, I don't think there will be all that much information about the PS4 provided since they've already had an event for that. This event is mainly to show the world what the PS4 will actually look like! :)
