S2000 is infinitely more masculine than a Miata. It looks more like a sports car definitely.

I tell you, one of the coolest looking convertibles, to ME, is the Triumph TR6.

I really wish that someone would come out with a cool, simple convertible car nowadays. Something you wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen driving. Something that doesn't cost $30k or more. It doesn't have to go 150mph, or even 130mph. It's a convertible, who cares. Just give a small 6 cylinder, smooth, 200hp and about 2200lbs and you'd have a seriously fun car.
I am partial to the E type and the 507... It's a shame that the 507 ended up failing

Both very nice examples of what I'm talking about. Always thought the E-Types were fantastic designs. I've always considered them more of an "exotic". Not really a car for the unwashed masses like myself.

Why oh why can't someone give us what we want?

Autotrader has a 914 in the Portland area, DrK....

You are good, Daddy, I will be there. I will open the room 9:10 or so, depending on how close the 49'er vs Seahawks game is at that point.

Joe, wouldn't that be like a convertible BRZ? Just read that won't happen. Yeah, the TR6 is what my heart wants, but I am trying not to ignore my head.

Oh definitely do not go out and buy a TR6 or E-Type etc for track use or daily driving fun. They will eat your wallet so fast :)

E-Types were horribly unreliable and TR6's to a lesser extent. Although I saw a TR6 at a local car hang out years ago and the guy said he had a Ford engine in it (I forget if it was a V8, V6 etc).

I just don't like "cute" cars. If a woman says "that's cute" then it's out.

I wonder how much of the reason we do not get those simple runabout roadsters has to do with safety requirements? As in, can it even be done?

I agree completely, a basic, 2 seat, 200 hp, FR car, not too heavy... Can be worked on by non rocket scientists, Sold.

I have put well over 20+ laps in at suzaka in the AEM practicing for tonights races and I honestly dont see how we are going to be able to race with the AEM s2000 because first off its a drift car and tuned for drifting. You cant keep the cars backend from underneath you it steps out. Im used to suzuka and love the track but with this car I dont see it being a clean race tonight plus im not used to drifting and im on a wheel. I think we should just use the 06 s2000 you might seriously consider it because these drift cars arnt made for grip racing especially for suzuka I think we will have cars and drivers all over the track it shouldn't take 20 some practice laps to set a hot lap. but with multiple cars on the track with same issues it will just be a headache

The really irritating thing?

Pick a car we can paint please. It makes for really crappy photos and replay watching.

1000+ cars...pick something we can paint.

or something not FR and with PP of around 470-530.

We are at 100,000 for the January season.

I would suggest a maximum of 250,000 per car for February, but that's just an idea. I am good with 150,000 or 200,000 as well.

Seasonals are not the 1 mill infusion, more in the 200-400,000.

Jumping on peoples car choices, in my opinion, is not cool.

There are almost always going to be cars and/or tracks in the lineup that don't particularly fit your driving style. Thing is they won the right to pick a car to race. We have the right to vote it off if it's something we're not fond of. That's one of the differences in S.N.A.I.L., you always have a choice to make.

I think I've said this before, as I'm having a deja vu moment here, there are a number of ways you can approach the situation when you're not getting the car to cooperate. Relate your experience versus telling someone they did something bad.

Something like:

Man am I having issues keeping the car pointed down track. Anyone have any tips on the oversteer coming out of Degner 2?

versus

Who picked a drift car? Really! You can't keep the car straight coming out of degner 2. It's a piece of crap.

Both point out issues with the car. However, the first might get you a piece of information that will help you and expand your abilities to drive fast. The second will annoy at least one person and not help you in anyway.

My 2 cents.

Speaking of that how and where do you vote for changes? If its in the op tell me it's in the op but then don't tell me how to vote.

The voting is done after racing and before you leave your division lounge. The scorekeeper takes everyones votes and records them in the score sheet.

Is the monetary limit still $100k? That limits the creativity a little. Maybe raise it to $500k? One seasonal can get you a cool million pretty easily.

Uh no, no it doesn't. At least, the new ones from last week didn't pay out anything near a million credits.

@Oshawa-Joe and @ExoSphere64 Are the Directors listed correct?
