Thanks for your interest!
We would love to have you in the league. Here's what you need to know and do in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the S.N.A.I.L. OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the S.N.A.I.L. OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. The Race Director or Primary Host from the corresponding SNAIL Division will send you a PSN friend request. Sunday night you will need to sort the online lobbies by friends and join the lobby named 'snailracing.org Division_(x) based off your Division placement from JLBowler. That lobby will be where you race Sunday.

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

S.N.A.I.L. Race of Champions (and the dudes who "missed it by that much".)​

I thought I would put this back on the front burner by asking a bunch of dumb questions. You gots fish? (Bring it!) Less than 24 hours until the gate drops an I have a vague idea of what is happening. I may just be lost.

This is what I know so far:

Me and some fellas I know are gonna do a little racin'.
It's gonna be tomorrow night some time after I get off work. (and get a beer or two going).
We're gonna drive some things on some stuff.
Some of us are going to attempt to avoid getting lapped by creatures from another planet.

That kind of sums it up. (Am I the only one this far out of the loop? )

And I forgot to ask any dumb questions...

Attention Team S.N.A.I.L.​

Promotion and relegation results will be posted sometime this weekend. They will most likely not be published until early Sunday. Some key players may move divisions so we all need to be on our toes and pay close attention to the thread. As soon as I know who got moved, I will be on top of the Team SNAIL roster to make sure we have qualified personnel in position before race time.

Everyone please give this some thought so we can avoid any chaos on Sunday. Hosts, scorekeepers, replay uploaders and data specialists need to be most aware of any changes that may come. Back ups should do the same. You may need to be ready to cover for your division. Stay tuned for more information as I can get it.

Some good close runs in the Red Room tonight have problems with replays not loading but I'm sure somebody has backups. I'm looking for to Sunday racing, but not with that darned Lancia, that thing is a turtle coming out of turns.

So not to continue to beat a Dead Horse...

GT6 has over 1200 cars. We have raced 136 different cars so just over 10%have been used.

Yes there are 1200 but you need to subtract the following from the list...

1) Cars that bounce off the rev limiter (a good number of race cars and muscle cars)
2) Cars that are so slow you could only race them on Autumn Ring Mini and even that isn't much of a challenge (i.e. most of the classic cars)
3) Cars for which the handling is broken and they spin out if you try to drive them at the limit (i.e. The 86 Toyota MR-2)
4) Cars that simply aren't enjoyable to "race"

Yea the rock wall at Deep Forest lol, all jokes aside you didnt miss much on that combo. Basically a boat that everybody tops out at 115, not a good combo at all for a car that has understeer a bit and poor braking upon cornering. The best I hit was a 1:35 and that was after the 4th lap, went downhill after that. The Roadster TC at Tsubuka was def good placed 2nd and third I believe, that combo is a keeper. But yea definetly practice that Lancia lol.
