We are a racing league that races GT1/GT3 Spec cars built on the everyday cars of GT6. We race every other Friday at 9PM EST. Each night consists of two 30 minute timed races at different tracks. This is a preview of what we do. Thanks to @brntguy

I uploaded D2's replays as a .zip into the location I was instructed to; but I'd like someone to double check that I did it right if possible :)

I can see there's a file there. Generally, we like for the uploader to include their PSN or GTP ID in the file name. I can't check what's inside the zip from here but, at 115MB it looks like it has 6 races in it. Either someone else that can will have to check the contents or that will wait until this evening. From what I can see at the moment though, it looks right.

Some shots from D8. Fun night of racing that welcomed some new and returning Snails.

Lemme guess... Daytona turn 1?
No it was the other 2 combos after. Had a good chance to win overall in D6 but after the half way point is when everything happened and it pissed me off to when I threw my mic it was still on so I know they heard me pissed off after what happened.

I know exactly what you mean @goofytyler! There is one guy that always spins me out. No matter how many times I talk to him nicely, yell at him, bribe him, etc I still get spun by him. Ultimately, this guy needs to figure it out or I might snap on him for real. Hopefully by publicly posting this, @CoachMK21 will get his act together.
I know what you mean. My biggest foe is @TomMang_68 . One of these days he will get his 🤬 straight !

Nawww, we didn't hear a thing:lol:

There's nothing I can I do! I'm cursed. Its been like this since I play granturismo on line. I'm the punchbag to whoever loses control and crashes. Go ahead, spin on the grass, jump over the sand, hit the guardrails violently but make sure that when you bounce back into the track you hit straight the biggest "wrong place at the wrong time" of all times in Granturismo, the one and only...
Schmiiiiiiggz
3 times in one night
lol I got that beat 3 times in one night by the same guy!
Had the same thing happen to me but instead it was me getting ran off the road not giving any space for me and it got to the point that I was livid and threw my mic.

Just a reminder, guys.. don't discuss racing incidents on the public thread. The posts above show how a seemingly innocent "woe is me" post can start to escalate rather quickly. Pretty soon, people are posting videos claiming hypocrisy and then name-calling is soon to follow. Examples like that are exactly what has led to multiple visits by GTP moderators recently and also why we now have the ability to revoke posting priviledges. Please don't be that guy who is the first to have his ability to post on this thread taken away.

As for the incidents discussed above, I'll be checking to make sure that an Incident Report is filed for each one tonight. If you don't file anything, I'll be docking GranStand Points from you per the rules of the contest.

I liked all of the combos last night, it was hard to pick one to vote off :(
Same here. They are all challenging and varied. Some cars feel like they are rails, others just don't have enough punch to break away, not these!

All of these cars have decent to good power and a little risk, hard to master, but not impossible. Overall excellent racers!

And I said it last night, big thanks to this Elise for finally making me learn how to drive an Elise!

@zer05ive

No, there was never intention to point out anyone but just a fact that happens to me often.
All the people envolved already talked about it in a friendly way as those incidents where not related with poor racecraft or poor sportsmanship but mere racing accidents.
Then, I can't be responsible for someone taking an innocent matter to a higher level.

@chevron

You did amazing last night budz. Congrats for the win.:cheers:

I think people need to remember that there is a messaging function on this forum and that sometimes it is better to respond using that then bringing your drama to the thread. Calling out yourself as a bad driver is one thing. Going on a rant about how someone messed up your race for you on the thread leaves everyone not in that division looking at everyone racing there as suspect.
Zero's point isn't that you called someone out, it's that when you go on an rant like that you are instigating a conflict (whether you mean to or not) and you open the flood gates for others to do the same, which generally leads into flame wars.
In situations where you are not reflecting on your own mistakes, but rather, on others, its best to either file an IR as needed, or keep it to yourself.

His relative, @Handlebar was out to get me as well. I think the villain poured oil or transmission fluid at several strategic spots.

Last week was a great week. Last night... I should have gone to bed early, and avoided Mayhem...like me.

To be fair, I don't think Schmiggz was discussing a racing incident that would require steward involvement. He was mentioning some racing accidents that he happened to get caught in. Some of the other comments by other drivers could be and probably are about racing incidents and those should be kept private and have IRs filed. If Schmiggz is accurate in his description, I don't think anything could be filed with the stewards over accidents.

Me toooo on the Elise. After watching some upper level drivers and understanding lines and GEARS....I drove the car with confidence. My first experience with the loti was in another league where not only was I the VERY junior squirrel, the car, repeatedly, tried to kill me...the tyres are the key. Nice choice andwell suited for Brands. Loved it. Not really a car for all types of drivers....once you understand that lifting off may be harmfull to your health it is easier to drive.

Coach, I hope you get the young man on the straight and narrow path.

Me, myself and I were also involved in a number of incidents last night....

I have to preach on the throttle myth: it's not so much to fear it, as to make it your ally.

Learning the how and when to modulate the throttle, to make IT turn the car for you, is the game-changer in driving it! The way that thing spins on its weird little center axis is so neat...
