This photo is from the last lap it just happened that @Dr_Strange spun out where he did as you can see the top 4 are on the high bank racing (granted if @aerolite hadn't spun out in the exact same spot as strange it would look even closer as I would of been able to get the top 5 in this shot)
Thanks for reminding me,lol.
Ya, you would have seen me drafting Birdy for the win if it wasn't for one wheel getting on that stupid grass, doh, stupid grass!

Hey guys I would like to join. Not sure how much I will be able to participate but this seems like the best place for some good spec racing.

@A7XMaverick

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!

Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide.
Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You take the SNAIL OLR and Racecraft Test

2. You run the Time Trial and submit your information by 23:59 EST on Saturday night if you want to race this Sunday.

3. @JLBowler PM's you with your assigned Division that we feel will give you the closest competition. You will be added to the drivers list.

4. SNAIL Administrators will reach out to you via a GT Planet conversation with further instructions on joining the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game. To find your assigned room on Sunday please follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Community, from the GT6 My Home screen.
  2. Select Clubs
  3. Select SNAIL [Spec] Racing
  4. Select Club Lobby (on left) not Club Events
  5. Find your division room #, select it and join.
5. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.

6. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread.
If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Anybody use a Turtle Beach headset and mic for racing? Just picked one up, gonna try it tonite. In.....

Monday Night Miatas.

Think boost racing sucks? Not any more. This is the most fun you can have with two hands without abusing your body parts. Fast, close and clean,(most of the time) racing.

Hey guys, can't find anything in the FUD's about what to do when your car's body has started to deterioate. I'm guessing the option to restore is the right choice, but just wanting to make sure before I do it. (It's the vantage, been running since I joined. Also, I think my inability to do turn 1 at Daytona this week helped speed it up a little aswell!)

Yeah, its OK to restore body but just make sure buying a new one isn't cheaper. I'm not sure right now.

I found restoring the Vantage's body is only a short term fix. It deteriorates much faster the second time. I just bought a new one the second time.

div 3 last night. close racing all night long.

Post them all up in the pic thread Wolfs made in the Photomode forum. Let's try to keep it to your favorite few pictures here and a link to the full post with pics. It's annoying when 40 pics have to load. Quality over quantity!

As usual it was a fun night in D3. Almost everyone got onto the podium at least once, and we had three ties! I enjoyed each of the combos very much. Heavy FR car on street tires, light MR car on race tires, and a midweight MR car on street tires. Each had its own challenges but I really enjoyed that the combos were for the most part a "puckering" experience (for me at least). Of course, this led to the field being spread out but it seemed like you always had someone to battle with, whether it was for a podium finish, 5th place, or 10th place.

Congrats to @JLBowler for the unofficial D3 win. Despite not finishing in 1st for any race, he was consistently on the podium or close to it, which was more than enough to give him the gold for the night with 8 points to spare. Be consistent!

Thanks for the fun night of racing, D3!

Thanks to @nmcp1 for the nice layout!
