Why not join Tuesday's TCS instead of Monday? That way every month you have two new cars to work with and that's it.
Monday night is a laid back and not serious event (they don't even scorekeep), plus just show up and race = no practice. Tuesday means added practice and qualifying, what I'm trying to avoid right now. But thanks for the thought!

Fair enough. would you consider switching from RCS to TCS? I personally find TCS more fun due to the shorter races. Many more options for how to attack.

Ok so i'm looking for some guidance since shmiggz hasn't answered we can either go GT3 class cars or lms race cars exc. the corvette and viper race car first response is the only vote!

For gt3 i'm thinking the Z4 GT3 '11, GT-R nismo GT3 base model '13, SLS AMG GT3 '11 and Audi lms ultra '12

or for lm XJ220 LM Race car, Zonda LM race car, Ford GT LM race car and GT by citroen race car

The GT300s that you listed should be acceptable. Let the drivers choose which one they want.
"The more the merrier" as to the appearance of the entrants.

Just specify a Minimum Weight and Maximum HP for the cars.
That should even things out.

GT3's it is but there will only be 4 available per car so that all 4 models are represented... hopefully!

I think there are sufficient numbers of us that really aren't interested in the SBowl, aka Deflate Bowl.
Give it some time - more will grow interested, I think.

Yep. That's why I chose 4 makes and am only allowing 4 people to choose the 1 make. I'm hoping to get a full room

Just as an aside....go watch the Chaparral 2X presentation in Vision Cars and tell me whose name is on the car as driver and who he was. Racing History 101.

i will be down for a one make on sunday. i forget if acura/honda has any gt3 but if so i nominate it along with any ford gt3 (dont know if there are any)

Honda has no GT3 entries. The closest thing in-game would be the NSX GT500 Base Model. The Acura NSX Touring Car isn't powerful enough stock.

Either way I'm working because I'm stupid and switched shifts with someone so they could have an earlier shift. I was like "yea no problem", completely forgetting that it's Superbowl Sunday.

almost but I still wanted to check it stock vs stock. Plus with the audi ultra I wanted to make sure it wasn't to much faster. Then I want to try and get sub 4 min laps I'm at 411 now so I'm putting on the small boost kit and testing that.

Guy's, after nine awesome months of racing on Sunday nights, I'm going to take a hiatus for awhile from this night. I like to arrive for the races well prepared, which means a good amount of practice during the week, and I have found this time I spend has started to interfere with running my business. I still want to race twice a week, so I will stay with Grimm's Wed RCS and I'm going back to Ned's Monday night series. This means I only need to practice for Wed and it is the same car for the month, so a lot less time will be required for practicing.
It is really hard to step away from Sunday night as it is such a great night of racing and I enjoy the Team SNAIL responsibilities. I'm not going anywhere though and will still be watching all the great drivers I know to see how they fair on Sundays.
I feel your pain Aero. I have two large projects that need to be completed before spring, just signed up to coach little league with an eight week pre-season clinic, and signed my son up for evening swim lessons starting next week.

This league is sooo talented that showing up without practicing just puts you in everyone's way. And my practice time is getting slim.

I'm going to try part time starting in February, and plan on getting my fix on Mondays. I 100% agree with you about Monday Night Miatas. It's refreshing to show up, find out what track you're running, and just let her rip. Ned had a great idea with the series, and it shows by being full every Monday.

I don't know about the aero but yeah they're heavier. Which once people start tuning will make it more interesting. Which is why i'm testing stock everything except engine parts, Turbo and ECU's to get with in a sceond of my times between the 4 cars

Hmm, just wondering if there are any news about the upcoming not known combos for the next Sunday race :D
Regarding the Elan, well and the remaining ones?
:embarrassed::)

I got bored. Here are some pictures of my shoveling work. The sidewalk is just a formality for others so I did the minimal one shovel-wide path. The rest I go all out. All pavement must be revealed!

If you are really bored I see a couple boards missing in the fence and a post missing from the deck railing . Please get on those projects ASAP

Ps nice job on the shoveling!

The results were posted, the Elan combo stays intact. Nothing yet on the next combos, and I don't think the admin is in a rush to get them since this Sunday is not a race day.

 but thanks on the shoveling. :sly:

That fence has been beat up since I was a kid. It's technically my neighbors and we've kind of ruined it from weed whacker use. Eventually they'll get a new one when they plan on selling the house. The posts missing in the deck railing are also nothing new. Just don't care enough, and new ones would look so out of place next to the old weathered look.

And lastly, it's not my house. I live with my parents until I have enough saved up to move out. It's taking awhile but that's because I tried college first and that went nowhere so now I'm just working to make money for that goal. This should be the year it finally (hopefully) happens.

Hi @Falango, correct, but why should there be another schedule in weekly dead lines as on a normal racing week? Guess there are many racers out there who want to practice and enjoy that 2 week bonus ;).

Silly @MajorBlixem, those are actually giraffes! It's deep!

To be honest, on the west coast, the snow situation in the mountains is bad, veey bad. Mount Baker in WA holds the world record for most snowfall at something like 96 ft! Right now, there's patches of snow. Weather there looks good for hiking, not skiing or boarding. Our mountains in Vancouver are bare. One mountain isn't even open, and I doubt it will open at all.

I'd sure love the 2 week practice! :D

The only hard deadline is to have new combos selected by official practice which takes place on the Thursday before the Sunday night races.

There are many things going on behind the scenes during this two week break. Most of the spreadsheets that are used to keep the league running are getting a complete overhaul or are being replaced all together. There are IR's pending against potential prize winners which will add time to the process as well. That doesn't even take into consideration the regular monthly changeover that has to take place.

With the relatively small (about a dozen) volunteers working on all of these projects, it's going to take some time so be patient. The new combos will be announced in plenty of time to be ready for official practice which is scheduled to take place on Feb. 5. That will give everyone at least 3 days to practice the combos which is 3 more days than I, and a couple of others, get to practice due to the amount of work it takes to keep SNAIL going on a weekly basis.

I'd sure love the 2 week practice! :D

I'd like to have 2 hours to practice.:D

Thank you sir, this is the answer I was looking for, so I know which day will be the announcement of the new combos, and be sure I am aware of all the background actions as time this takes, hat up for all your engagement to keep this running:cheers:
