Hi I'd like to join the racing league

@Slasner

Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL

Division 6 Race Report

Congratulations to all of the winners, i got my first win from Combo 3 Race 3 at Grand Valley Speedway. Thank you to the Data Recorders/Uploaders, Replay Recorders/Uploaders and to all of the stewards as well. No glitches or connection issues. One hell of a battle between Myself and @Jayc2k during all 3 races. Great battles all around.

Race Clean, Race Snail  :gtpflag: 👍

After almost two months of connection issues, I finally finished a night without any internet drama. It feels pretty good to get back in the fight. I really missed it. Man, Division 6... You all just plain rock! I really enjoyed myself tonight. It got so hot that I had to open windows. It's snowing outside. Thanks to all of D6 for making this one of the best nights I have had in a long time. It isn't about the results. It is all about how competitive this group is.

It is easy to get caught up in the competition and not pay too much attention to why it is so good. Yes, we have the most talented group of GT6 drivers ever assembled but the tight racing we all enjoy is no accident. I want to thank @JLBowler , @Dragonwhisky , @CoachMK21 and everyone else with Team SNAIL. A ridiculous amount of personal time goes into pouring over all of the data to make sure that we all are racing with equal talent. (The data is no accident either.) Thanks for all the work. I understand how much dedication it takes.

Fingers crossed that my connection stays stable. This is going to be an intense month of racing and I don't want to miss a single second of it!

Notice

Sunday Score sheets have been pushed up to SNAIL Data. All Data Specialists are cleared to enter timing data.

I would remind all Scorekeepers and Data Specialists, do not enter data or edit any cell that is shaded.

I would also like to advise any Scorekeepers that do double duty as Data Specialists, until further notice, you are cleared to enter timing data in the Sunday Score sheets on the night of racing, with one condition. After the score sheets are copied, regardless of when, enter all timing data in SNAIL Data only.

One final note and I'm hitting the rack. The Google Chrome browser works far better with Google Docs than any other browser. Just saying.

I agree with the Chrome browser. First time using it last night and everything was much smoother with no hangs.
