So far as I know, anyone with the link can view SNAIL Data. You need permissions to edit it. I just tested the link you quoted and it loaded up just fine, even in my crappy IE9 browser at work, while not logged in to any account that does have permission to edit.

Since I found the Lotus to be the funnest drive of all three combos, I expect it will. :(

It's just my personal preference. I'll drive whatever they throw at me but I kinda liked her peppy erogenous niece Miss Elise more.

All I can say is may the rust of a 1000 Lotus cars gone by invade the wheels wells of the Elan

Yesterdays episode was amusing as well. Back to their old antics of "this is in the news because it's broken, so let's fix it ourselves!"

Speaking of Lotus, was watching a Top Gear episode last night and Jeremy happened to mention what a lot of people think it stands for, hadn't heard it before, thought it amusing!

When the instrument gauge manufacturer “Lucas” is commonly referred to as the “Prince of Darkness” you know you’re in for trouble.

I have to wait a couple of days to download, Daniel Ricciardo is supposed to be on this episode, was he?

Yes, the Argentina special. Have you watched episode two where the top gear team and film crew have to leave Patagonia with their lives?!. If anyone has any doubt to the animosity after the Falkland's War?! Please watch.. That was over thirty years ago. This shows the true extent of their hatred! A simple TV show. Maybe a few will understand what fear US troops and civilians have to go through in the Middle East, and what this country will now endure every time our troops stand on foreign soil.

I'm not a war mongered, but the conflict between the UK and Argentina is rife, especially in soccer. The Argie Bargy's, that's what us Brits like to call them. The Argentine government are continuously and openly threatening this UK territory and it's sovereignty.

So, in protest, the residents of the Falkland Islands have been posting these stickers on the back of their cars, to pronounce support for the TOP GEAR crew, and an insult to the Argentine Government.

This was supposedly the vehicle plate that was on the Porsche that Clarkson was driving. Somebody tweeted that the BBC used this plate purposely as a reference to 1982 and FKL (Falklands). This was while the crew were on location. This is what caused the ruckus, rumored!

However, this plate had been tied to this car since it's first registration. Possibly coincidental?!

The UK owes much to America for this conflict, we had no support to supply fuel and ammunition, 8100 miles away from home. The US supplied great support for British troops. The Argentines only had a 330 nautical mile flight to cover for air support and attacks, so were much better supported.

To this day, Militarily, the Falklands conflict remains the largest air-naval combat operation between modern forces since the end of the Second World War. As such, it has been the subject of intense study by military analysts and historians.

I have no intention to join the military again, but trust me, if the Argentines step onto British soil again? I'll sign up as a specialist. The same way I'd go to arms, if this great country that I now reside in, comes under any threat on US soil.

So, please excuse my response, but I've been a little bit agitated since watching this edition of TOP GEAR.

Therefore, Argentina have another go?! BRING IT ON? We'll finish you militarily the next time! Then you'll suffer for another 30 years in a financially challenged state!

Grrrrrrr...........

The guys have still been poking fun and shrugging off the situation in each episode, by apologizing and correcting themselves on some of the meaningless things in the episode. Anyone who watches the show regularly expects that, but others might expect a big apology.

It's great.... Are you aware that the Argentine government through it's European Embassy's have announced they want a formal apology from the British government on behalf of, representing the BBC. The Argentine ambassador met with the Director of the BBC. They did grant an apology, but said they would still go ahead with broadcasting the episode. Now it's coming from the Argentine government. Whaaa whaaa whaaa.... I thrive on controversy, just like Clarkson.

The Mexican government never asked for an apology after Richard Hammond said Mexican cars reflected national characteristics - saying they were like a "lazy, feckless, flatulent oaf with a moustache, leaning against a fence asleep, looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat".

All our FFs were made in the UK with lucas components. We all wore the favorite logo of the day on our Tees.... It was a lightning bolt in the middle of the red circle with the diagonal bar superimposed with LUCAS above it. Loosely it could be translated as "electricity phrobited.

It was after my time in Service but I was working for the Bath Iron Works, the builders of the BEST DDgs and FFGs in the world. We were closely monitoring the fight, especially the Harrier vs Mirage and Scooters but you should have seen the designers dive for their design boards when the Sheffield burned to the waterline after the Exocet hit. They discovered what they already knew....aluminum burns. Hell of a fight where modern technology and a few close freinds win out over numbers and shorter supply lines. Three cheers for the Iron Maiden.
