I could lend a hand helping out the higher division guys I used to do that a few months back its good felling running fast laps for my self but I get the same good felling when I see a higher division driver run faster lap just off my help and coaching alone

When ever you guys are in a room and want or need some help figure ping out a combo either tag me here on the main thread or send me a pm and I'll do my best to hop on when you guys are on :)

Man, that would be incredible. And yes, we are all rooting for you and all SNAILs that are competing. The more recognisable names we see, the better.

The new combo Practice Time Trial events are now live.

The Leader Boards can be found here.

All previous TT Leader Boards can be viewed by selecting the appropriate tab at the bottom.

Great fun in Engmatic's practice room tonight. The Alpine at Deep Forest is such a good combo. The car handles well and the track provides enough challenge considering the low-powered nature of the car. It's more than just an example of maintain momentum or be overtaken coming out of the corner. Driving line is still very important here.

Nissan Z GT500 at Mid-Field is also a great combo. And for the same reasons. The car isn't impossible to handle, but not so easy that it's boring. It's enough of a challenge to go as fast as you can. And when you get that down, the track itself provides it's own challenge. Well done for the pick.

Now that SSR. Let's not talk about that.

I would love too meet some of you guys at the Glen but i don't have the money this year. It's almost a good 500 bucks top really enjoy it all

Thursday topic - what view do you use when racing and why.

I use normal view (bumper cam) I find this view to remove most blind spots created by in car view. Additionally it helps me avoid dive bombing , for the most part. I take pride in getting as close as I can To the car in front (if possible) pressuring them into making a mistake then find a way by.

I always have used the bumper cam because i have gotten used to it using this view over the years and use the blind spot indicator and rear view mirror that helps me to know when someone is next to me on the track. I do the same if i can keep up with the driver in front of me, i keep the pressure either until the driver makes a mistake or i can overtake.

Roof/hood view. Presence Indicators active, but mostly ignored these days. Rear, right and left views all mapped to buttons on G27 wheel, not shifter controller. Can see 360° in less than 1 second the way I have the buttons mapped. Running in roof view lets me see/feel where my fenders are in relation to everything else.

Exactly!!!... I also find this view the most realistic IMO. All other views feel different for some reason.

Chase cam because I've been playing racing games for so long that the only way to know what the back of the car was doing 20 years ago was to see the back of the car and it's just a habit now. I don't need side indicators or look left or right buttons. I have look back mapped but rarely use it.

I have run cockpit view when I had iRacing and I will play around with different views from time to time in GT and Project Cars but when I want to be clean and have the most amount of information given to me, I'll go back to chase cam.

All of my GT days have been spent in bumper (normal).

1. Im used to it. I like the speed differential feeling I get from this view
2. I've always felt more immersed in this view. Maybe if I had triples or just a larger screen I might prefer in car.
3. I'm really trying to get away from it though with PCars. I'm still better with bumper view, but helmet view seems to be the next most natural view (except in the karts).
4. I've NEVER used a rear view button. It's not a natural viewport. In GT I rely on my mirror, side markers (and views) and my instincts.

Bumper Cam for me with side markers on and look left/right/back mapped when racing serious and for fastest times. For single player events or messing around, in-car cam for the added immersion.
