Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @Dragonwhisky, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 & @zer05ive as participants. The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing club. Sunday races are organized exclusively through the GT6 Community features within the game.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.

I wish they had this technology when I was in the Biz. Just record some stuff and let the electronics take over. The last recording I ever mixed was on a 16 channel board into an 8 track recorder. This was in the early days of 8 track, early 70's, we were amazed at being able to overdub and add another few layers to the sound. Effects? ha, the only effects we had available was an old Roland Space Echo continious loop tape machine....analog of course and a cheap equalizer. Back then this was state of the art for bands that couldn't afford the big studios. I always hated that Space Echo, it only worked at full output and had a tendancy to feed back, just to piss me off. Sorry, just bringing up memories.

Who needs cowbell when you have an electric organ and the sound of thunder? Or maybe an old album that has something to do with the dark side of the moon? Nothing can compare to the oldies from the 60's-70's... That goes for music and racing!

Thanks, but I've had nothing but technical problems on Sundays since about March or so. I love the community and close competition that can be had, but this game just isn't as fun as it used to be. Even if I had time to practice like I used to I find it hard to get motivated to play a sim that is far inferior from a gameplay standpoint. Bring on GT7, but it better be REALLY good...

pretty sure that the stablilty of GT6 online features are amongst the worst i have ever seen, and i have been playing online games since the late 90s. mix that with some horrid AI, and it becomes easy to say its inferior to quite a lot of other racing games. It has got to be said though, that its probably the best racing game on the PS3.

A lot of what rallywagon said, plus it's not as engaging as my current favorite title. I enjoy the practice rooms throughout the week as i never have tech issues then, just on Sunday's.

I can't agree that the physics engine is that far off though. There's no way I'm good enough enough to pull off some of the saves I do in this game. I'm currently still a ds3 user.

Ah, I didn't realize you were in the PS4 crowd. I have something planned for all those missing out on that.

@Vitessekid - Yea, it will happen eventually but I want to wait for @FlipJ as long as I can. I might get impatient and get started but probably not. In the mean time, I need to find a way to tell if a lot of people are interested in this or not.
