This week's prize B & C have changed and are clear to make their selections

Please see this post for your prize selection instructions.

The stewards have all but completed reviews for this past week and unless one of them wishes to wade through a few more, the summary and official results will be published sometime later this evening.

I would like to thank all the stewards for jumping on these and getting them done in a timely fashion. It was quite a lot (152 reviews on 44 incidents) to get done in 2 days.

Congrats Blixem for inheriting a prize!

I'm not saying he's a bad driver. Far from it. He came in 2nd for our division and due to my IRs the prize was shifted from me to him. Clean stuff Major. See y'all tomorrow night for practice

I noticed a small change when adjusting the sensitivity from -2 to 0 on my G27, but maybe that was all in my head.

Im 99% sure the "controller sensitivity" setting does nothing to a wheel, its a placebo efffect. The FFB sensitivity however certainly does change things.

As for other settings, on my T300 I don't often change my steering lock, just use 1080 degrees for just about everything. I think GT6 changes steering sensitivity a little itself for some cars as well. (It didn't used to for the T300 I think, but has for the G27 since I can remember, and seems to for the T300 as well now)

My ffb settings were 5/8 (strength/sensitivity) before the leadup to GT Academy, 1/7 for the time trial (because of the car...) and 7/9 for the leadup to GT Academy so I could be a little better prepared to use the very strong T500s they use at nationals.

I haven't changed it back from 7/9 yet.

Due to your IRs and the honor and courage of a few of your division mates, you were nowhere near finishing first.

My hat is off to those who value sportsmanship and fairness above all else.
You shut up my good sir! ;):dopey: I too value those things. Let's just move on and have a good Sunday:cheers:

Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for the members of this league who volunteer their time and keep this machine called SNAIL running like a well oiled 2008 Ferrari California.

Thank you for all you do, especially the division stewards who spent a lot their personal time reviewing and fairly judging the 44 incidents on file this week. :banghead:

Hats off to you!

Oh man that Impreza is fun, a lot better turn-in that most AWD cars in GT6 and a TON of grip on SM tires. Honestly, it feels like RS tires to me, I had to double check to make sure I was on SM. The brakes are insane, too. This car should be easy to drive but tough to master. It's got so much grip for it's power level it seems to become a momentum car, but one you can toss around a lot and find time through rotation.

I think D1 fast laps will be in the 1:35 range. I still haven't worked out the shift point for certain, I might be shifting too late, so 1:34 is likely possible but I'm not sure yet. When Ricky does a 1:34 I won't be surprised though.

To put that lap time in perspective, the real-life time for a '14 STi is 1:47, and the fast lap at Laguna Seca for the 600HP, sticky-treaded Nismo GT-R is a 1:35.5 so this 294HP street-tire-wearing Impreza is absolutely flying...
