Thanks to @Jaguara for setting up the Nurburgring TT and for letting me pick the first car to run it. I think I got to pick a car once for Sunday night in almost 2yrs I've been here. So I really appreciate him doing that for me....Thank you sir. :bowdown:

I took my first crack at it after practice tonight and got an 8:01
I spent about 5 secs in a sand trap and was already 3 secs faster on my second lap before time ran out, so I know I should be able to bring that time down some more.

It's was fun to try and a great track to hone your skills.
 
There is no such thing as a perfect lap around the Nurburgring... It's just too long and demanding. There will always be time to gain at that place, which is why I love it so much. Never a dull moment. Great Idea with the TT guys
 
Hey guys, just for your information anyone posting pics for banner consideration I just have a few reguests.
If you look at my other banners you'll see the car is somewhat in the middle of the frame off to the left or right, doesn't matter and takes up about 3rd to half the picture. This gives me room to put in all the information around the perimeter. So basically a little room top and bottom and one side or another.
Other than that have at her!!! Sorry being a pain....:cheers:

The time we get for qualifying works great and see no reason to change it.

@USERID_77a23 the only issues for each division not finishing within the two hours is because of; I can't see everyone. Well, back out and clear your cache, we'll wait (or) XXXX keeps getting disconnected and say we'll wait (or) everyone back out, there's some stuck at the start/finish line. Does everyone remember what position you qualified. Line up (or) having to open another room because of to many disconnects (or) you have someone who volunteers to host, God bless them, but doesn't really have the connection to do so and problems occur.

We used to run 10 min qualifiers in GT5 and finished on time, mostly.

@fzappa ,that is definitely the biggest loss of time in my opinion.The problem is other peoples connections can cause trouble that is perceived as being an issue with another's connection.I myself have left the room on race night(twice now)so others could race without issue,and the problem did not lie with my connection.I however was not given the same in return when problems occurred again.I would like to see this problem resolved as the 5 min. qually isn't an issue in my opinion.;)
