Speaking of me not racing SNAIL this weekend. Here is a bunch of information for my race at Daytona on Saturday:

April 2nd, 2016, Saturday
Daytona Road Course – 3.56 miles
14 hours of Daytona
Green flag / Start time: 9:00 AM
Checker Flag / Finish time: 11:00 PM

Our Car:
1989 Mazda RX-7 Convertible w/ a 2002 Chevy Camaro V6 engine
#485
Red

Why is this so awesome?
My family has a pretty awesome racing history. My dad, Chuck, raced in the 1960’s and 70’s, mostly with the then editor and chief of Car and Driver magazine, Brock Yates, Sr. (ever watch the movie Cannonball Run? – that was Brock’s thing too). My dad and Brock finished 15th in the 24-hours of Daytona in 1967, one of the top non-professional teams that year. So, the opportunity for an all Krueger team to also race at Daytona is a dream come true for us.

Tentative Driver Schedule:
09:00 – 10:45: Chuck Krueger (my oldest brother)
10:45 – 12:30: Mark Krueger (Me J)
12:30 – 02:15: JC Krueger (my cousin)
02:15 – 04:00: Walt Krueger (my uncle)
04:00 – 05:45: Chuck
05:45 – 07:30: Mark
07:30 – 09:15: JC
09:15 – 11:00: Walt

The driver schedule could change for many reasons. One way to tell who is driving is by our gloves:
Mark – Black gloves
Chuck – Red gloves
JC – Blue & gray gloves
Walt – Blue & white gloves

Looking forward to racing a couple different (wider) tracks this week. Toyko and Monaco should be banned for all eternity ! ;)
That rocket suited monaco so well. I'm sad to see the combo get split up! But yeah the ferrari didn't suit Toyko at all! back end like to slide to much for those close walls.

I love that Lotus combo ;) now if I could be consistent at turn 1 I would be a bit more competitive in my division.

That being said, it'll be interesting to see how divisional placement shakes out for the new season. @JLBowler eluded to some upcoming changes a few post back.
I'm getting better at the lotus combo. I think it's more the track then the car, I liked it at laguna seca. I think it's the humps at deep forest throwing the car balance off that's driving me nuts.

Don't be mad when I pick it as a prize in the distant future:drool:

Although.... With my poor prize winning rate, I'm gonna have to convince someone else to pick it
Stick your arm out the window it will turn left! lol. No matter the car or combo i'll drive it. But to claim a yaris is cool and getting me to believe it is going to either take a lot money or drugs!

It's in GT, that's how you know its a true sports car
Makes sense ;)

That is so awesome. I'll have to make an effort to tune in. It's always cool to see people you know do cool things. Good luck.

Thought I'd drop by here to see what's been up lately to see the posts from @Die_Birdy_Die @CoachMK21 !! Thank you so much guys!

There's been a lot happening since GTA in 2014. It is only now that I think I can take a breather and come back here for a moment.

2 weekends ago being able to race in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car was unreal. On top of that, I'm starting to make a little money purely out of racing and I am still fascinated by that fact but this all is still just the beginning.

I think I'll have a little more time to blog a little over in the GT Academy threads about my life after GTA now that I have a program in place for the rest of 2016 in the Porsche.

About the race series I'm doing in China. it is a one track championship with 3 weekends. first one that just passed in March, next one is on June 18th, 19th. 3rd weekend is in mid September. The deal with my sponsor this year is to grab podium spot in the champioship points for a bonus to race in Macau Grand Prix in November. I'm thinking of doing the TCR races there this year to gain experience and then another attempt next year at the GT Worllld Cup in Macau.

Still hoping to see if I could have a shot at the Asian Le Mans Series but that depends heavily on how much funding I can bring to the table but that is in my long term plan for my goal to race at Le Mans.

Back to the recent race in China, pretty lame that they classified our Porsche cup car in the same class as the Audi R8 LMS Cup car and the Lambo Huracan Super Trofeo cup car because we are more than 100hp down from both cars. And not to mention they have all the bells and whistles like ABS, Traction control and paddle shifters while there's nothing in my Porsche and I still have to heel toe downshift lol.. Oh and no Brake Booster either, which was my biggest woe at the moment.

But anyway, they aren't pro drivers so there is a chance for me to catch them during the next race. The Porsche driven at 100% is able to barely match the Audi and Lambo's current speed which I think is driven at around 70-80% of the car's capability. I only had 30 minutes total to get used to the car that weekend due to shipping delays of the car to the track. Pushed myself a little over board on Friday and ended up in the gravel trap which caused about 1300USD worth of damage in the end.

All in all, it was a satisfactory weekend though. a 2nd place and a 3rd place in round 1 and 2. The Audi spun off into the gravel in round 1.
Here's an onboard from the weekend. Love the sound of it.
