I had a chance to put some good lap time in today at Montegi, and was able to secure the BMW to put some laps in at Spa: I can't wait for Sunday night! What a great group of combos across the board. All are challenging, but very good for door to door racing. Looking forward to this week's races.

If you look more closely, you use a courtesy car in the race which unlocks the Base Model. So, you only spend Cr350,000

I must have done it by accident in the past not even knowing that I'm unlocking a car. It was just there...!

The base model also appears if you buy the M3 GT (BMW Motorsport) '11 but it will save on credits if you use the courtesy car in 1 player arcade mode race.

To those of you who don't feel like doing an extra race to "unlock" the M3 we're using, just go to suggested cars and look under GT cars. Same thing with the old NASCARs only being listed under recommended cars.

Only issue is the game doesn't pause when you hit the Share button, so when I hit it during a race to take a screenshot, my car went straight into a wall at 140 mph

Think of the share as a continuously recording DVR. When you push it, you've essentially stopped recording your gameplay and created at most a 15 minute clip. Now obviously you're attempting to take a screenshot, rather than a video, but you're kind of busy racing. If your race or stint isn't over 15 minutes in length you could use share to grab a video clip when you're finished driving, then while watching that video use share to grab a screenshot of that.
