scorekeeping and replays are done for D5 .Thanks for your patience in my first time scorekeeping on Sunday night and I will need help with the replays . Oh man those old wheels with straight-cut gears (DFP, G25) were SO LOUD, even the G27 is very quiet compared to them. Compared to my old DFP, my T300 is basically silent...

Why don't we go to just using the public folders instead of having both? When I do uploading I always put it in the private folder.

We keep the replays in the private folder. I suppose if we went straight to only public folders, someone could remove replays to avoid IRs. Pretty devious, but not out of the question.

to that point isn't that why we report that the replays have been uploaded? or have a private file that someone uploads the nights replays into that only the stewards and whoever the mover is has access to?

Not that I see anyone ever deleting a replay to avoid an IR someone's always got the replays still on there system and can easily re download them.

I as an example keep every replay until the next sunday, hell I keep all the GT1 replays for the entire season.

It appears that you renamed the replay file. If this is the case, the PS3 will no longer read the file correctly. When you have some time, could you please upload the replay again without renaming the file.
 
D2 replays have been uploaded to the public folder. If anyone has a chance, please verify I did this correctly and the files are OK since it was my first time. Thanks!

Took home my first win in SNAIL last night in the skittle on apricot hill. Although it was on the 2nd race where I started in P2. Out of all the combos I was the least confident in that one, but I guess anything can happen on the track. But after going from those srt4's to the fast spoons on Rome, I was a bit wild. I could've used a few practice laps to adjust. Definitely left some paint on the walls, and drove too aggressively at some points. I also have a really hard time figuring out a braking point on the long back stretch, I either brake way too early or way too late. Anyways, had a lot of fun. I feel like D2 is where I belong for now, and the way src drove last night I wouldn't be surprised to see him in D1. 👍

Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Kgffy wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - SRT SRT4 '03 (Sports: Hard) at Apricot Hill Raceway / Reverse (7 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Engmatic1 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @src_ej6 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.
