How much horsepower are you working with? Is there a range allowed in your class or set to a specific amount for all to go by?

If anyone's not practicing tonight for the big holiday endurance race and looking for something else to do I'll have a room open for this around 9:30 pm

PONTIAC TRANS AM AT TWIN RING MOTEGI EAST COURSE / sports hard tires and oil change.

I'm not home before Sunday morning. I understand @MajorBlixem has opened a room the last two days and ran some free practice laps and two-lap races with a mandatory stop and tire change. I'll ask him if he can do it again at 9:00 or 9:30 pm on Thursday.

I would suggest that he run a 1-hr free practice from 9:30 - 10:30 and then run 2-lap races. During the free practice people can determine their fuel consumption and tire wear and do what you do in free practice.

@Rednose58 @MajorBlixem what are the correct progression settings?

Room UP!

Plan to practice until around 10 EST then do a 4 lap race!

My count show there was a tie in votes for combos 1 & 2. Per the Tie breaker process as found in the SNAIL OLR, didn't combo 2 receive the second highest elimination votes?
The prize A winner vote is tossed on a tie breaker. Given Sand @socalnatv voted for combo 1 , his vote was thrown out thus combo 1 survives.

View media item 2540This week's prize winners are clear to make their selections. Good racing!
The IR Submission Form is now closed.
We have 9 incidents on file. Target deadline for reviews is NLT 10PM Eastern on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016.

I'll like to freeze the car

The car will be going to
Autodromo Nazionale Monza '80s

Also just ran a few practice laps and I'm running 2:22's

That's how I interpret the rule as well.

Do the Prize B & C winners know this?

@Die_Birdy_Die @Ricky_Blayz
I do and I did. I went into data looked at all the adjusted scores, tallied the votes and hit the practice fields knowing that I would pass the freeze. I was already to go monday night :) If Ricky had of frozen the track we were either taking the Gillette RC or the lotus elise type 72 to the track or we were going to monza. I love monza and know the chickens well. :)

You're as bad about flaming chickens as I am about Celicas. I couldn't tonight, but put me down for the next one. Only condition is: Sally Field rides with ME...10-4?

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Audi R8 Race Car '01 (Racing: Medium) at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (6 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @socalnatv wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - BMW 2002 Turbo '73 (Comfort: Soft) at Circuito de Madrid / Forward (6 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Die_Birdy_Die gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Ricky_Blayz so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

Um This is wrong... if sand voted for combo 1 then shouldn't that be the vote that gets eliminated...

@zer05ive @JLBowler @CoachMK21

Any prize selections that have been made this week are null and void. The elimination votes are tallied incorrectly. @socalnatv 's vote should be removed which would mean that combo 1 received 8 votes and combo 2 received 9 votes so combo two has the second most elimination votes.

@socalnatv is still clear to make his selection for prize A.

@Ricky_Blayz and @Die_Birdy_Die should refrain from making any announcements or selections until the results can be updated and they are given another all clear to make selections.

@JLBowler
What is the deadline to announce prize selection?
I'm thinking Tuesday night, but I want to be sure.

Thanks to @USERID_77a23 , @src_ej6 , @TomMang_68 , @basswerks1 and @Whitey093 for coming out last night and running some laps with me in the Trans Am ...Good times gentlemen. :cheers:

Maybe next time we'll run some Celicas so you can get it out of your system...lol

It was pretty competitive last night, it would have been great with a full room. Obviously it wasn't the best time to get together and run races with other stuff going on...bad decision on my part.
Which begs the question...is there any sure fire time of the week that's best for this?

I had bought the car after your post last night not realizing yall wouldn't be racing until I was going to bed. Fun yet again thwarted by overtime. Ha!
