There's no way helpful suggestions can be 'seen in a bad light' can there?

You'd be surprised how much crap I've gotten for voicing my opinion on things. Trust me, keep it to yourself or in private conversations but know that it's ultimately up to the prize winner now matter what.

*****************************************************
  1. Are you dedicated to racing within the confines of the SNAIL OLR, with the highest level of sportmanship?
  2. Can you commit 1-3 hours, or more, a week, to SNAIL, over and above what you may already be commited for?
  3. Do you possess the necessary equipment to view and edit Google Documents and Spreadsheets, download and transfer replay files for viewing?
    1. Computer
    2. USB Flash Drive
  4. Do you have the fortitude and stamina to expose your opinions regarding your peer's, friend's and league member's on track behavior?
If you answered yes, without qualification or hedging, to all of the above questions, please consider volunteering to be a SNAIL Steward. Be advised, asking to become a Steward doesn't automatically mean you will become one. Volunteers for stewardship are approved by committee. Should you decide to walk this path, please send a PM to, @zer05ive, @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1 , @MajorBlixem , @Rednose58 , @msgt-sd .

Desired attributes include but are not limited to:
  1. Minimum 3 months continuous and current active membership in SNAIL Sunday night racing
  2. The ability to meet deadlines
  3. Has demonstrated an understanding of the SNAIL OLR

GT cars on GT track, I see nothing wrong with that. Bummed I missed this week's racing. I had fun on practice night but didn't get back from my ski trip in time.

We had quite an anomaly happen last night. I won the pole @ GVE with a 1:23.607, and both Nic and msgt set a qually lap time of 1:23.614! I believe Nic was given 2nd place and msgt 3rd. Does any one know how these tiebreakers are decided when its a deadheat like that?
It happened to me a few times. The tiebreaker is "when" you post the time (the first to post the time is going to be ahead). I posted my time on the 2nd lap and I was ahead of him.

@BenMillard After i picked the R33 Touring Car, i was thinking between Fuji Speedway F and Fuji Speedway GT. I figured that turn right before the left/right/left turns on the Fuji Speedway GT track provides a challenge to try not too go out of bounds. Any feedback is appreciated. I just figured to pick a GT car since we have not driven one of those in Snail in awhile.

I was afraid the dreaded DS3 steering lock would rear its ugly head with the FTO @SSR5. Mainly that long sweeping right hand last turn, but luckily that wasnt the case and didnt seem to effect the DS3. Hoping that long right hand 3rd turn at Fuji with the R33 yields the same results :scared:

Might be on a little later tonight for some early practice.

Prize Update

Our prize B winner has failed to respond to the conversation or make his pick. This means that his prize goes up for suggestions and voting.

But first, this gives prize C to @CoachMK21 . Since he has already used prize C once this month, his prize, to freeze the car or track, goes up for voting by his division.

If you raced in D3 on Sunday night, you get one and only one vote to freeze the car or the track. If you vote more than once, your vote will be thrown out. If you edit your post to change your vote, it will be thrown out. Please do not use the main thread to campaign for your cause or to count votes. Extra posts just make it harder to verify a count when voting closes. In case of a tie, the first vote cast will serve as the tie breaking vote.

Voting will close at noon ET on Wednesday. At that time, another suggestion and voting process will begin to select a car or track to go with whatever is frozen.

Three votes to freeze the track and two to freeze the car were in before the deadline. The track is frozen.

If you raced in D1 on Sunday night, you get to make one suggestion for a car to take to Grand Valley East.

The rules. Only one suggestion per driver. Multiple suggestions will void all of your suggestions. Editing you post to change your suggestion will void your suggestion. Making a suggestion that leaves doubt as to what car you are talking about will void your suggestion. If you're not sure of the exact name, wait to post until you can look in the game. The deadline for making a suggestion will be 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday night (tonight). I will then post all the suggestions in one place and anyone who raced on Sunday night in D2, D3, and D4 can vote for their favorite.

Below are your choices. Everyone outside of D1 that raced on Sunday night may vote for one and only one of these cars. Multiple votes will get your vote voided. Editing your post will get your vote voided. Don't be the guy that didn't race and casts a vote.

Please do not keep a total of the votes in the thread. Extra posts make it harder to count and verify the votes that are being case.

The deadline to vote will be 6PM ET on Thursday. In the event of a tie, the earliest car suggested will get the tie breaking vote.

Thank you to the four of you who made a post that contained the name of the car and fits easily into a quote box. It saved me some work and made your suggestion easier to read for everyone else.
