Cat and mouse is kinda funky in GTS. Suggest using a FF car for the mouse as the FR cars cannot take a hit (from pusher) without spinning. We ran quite a few research rooms a couple months back and tried the Toyota S-FR which most could not drive due to the spinning. Also, some tracks really dislike you cutting corners. Interlagos was horrible.

Alpha Romeo MiTo 1.4 T Sport '09 Buy the Power Level upgrades to level 3 and turn it down from 152 hp to 98 hp.
Another option is the Suzuki SWIFT Sport '07 which is only 123 hp but can be detuned to 96 hp.

OK.. Executive decision on the fly.. Suzuki Swfit .. right from dealer can buy Yellow, Red, White and Black. It is only 16K.

For Cats. I think the Subaru WRX being 4WD, you can buy Red, White and Black right from dealer 41K.

Split the room into two teams, so if 14 in room, then 7 per team. It is up to the team to determine how many attack cats and pusher/blocker cats they run. Such as on a seven man team, you can run 4 attack cats and 2 pushers, split it 3 and 3 or use some other combination. The goal of the attack cats is to stop the opposing mouse and preferably hold him as long as they can. But the pusher cats often make that difficult.

I think the main objective was accomplished. A lot of good laughs, great fun and just awesome night.
Not sure if the defunct C&M thread can be reopened or just make a new one?

I think for the sake of simplicity and saving time; I like the idea of having only 2 or 3 teams. 1 mouse per team.

The F150 Raptor is a very good Cat. Any ideas for next week cars?

You guys can see how crucial it is to have cars painted ahead of time. Even getting a head count and organizing teams and colors in advance will save us soooo much time. C&M is great but it requires some planning to make it run right. Lets do that again next Friday

I had a huge amount of fun last night. I’d love to see the evening with a few combo practices, then relax for a Friday evening and wreck a Logitech? I still think it’s striggling this morning. Awesome fun!

FYI.. you can unplug the power supply from the wheel and it will still function but with no force feedback. 👍 That's also a good way to learn how to drift.

When initiating oversteer the wheel will basically automatically countersteer to a point if you just let go. Doesn't happen without the wheel plugged in, in my opinion learning to drift without the power on will be harder.
