Forget about the Taco chains. We have little, locally owned and operated taco shops on just about every corner. On one corner, not intersection, but corner about half a mile from work, there are three taco shops. You have to either know enough Spanish to order or you'd better hope the one girl that speaks English is working. I live in a town of just under 10,000 people and we have four taco shops and two sit down Mexican restaurants and it's all good. They opened a Taco Bell here years ago and it didn't last a year. They opened a Taco Bell / KFC and it seems to be doing well selling chicken.

I haven't even begun to talk about the taco trucks that are around if you know where to find them or the tortilla "factory" that has a lunch counter or the meat processing facility that has a lunch counter. We know how to grow food and we know how to cook and eat food around here.
Here in Michigan we have an up-and-coming burger chain called Five Guys. OMG, if anyone is interested in owning a franchise, get in now while you can. Last I checked it was about an $80,000 cash startup - which is about standard for franchising. Super low overhead, they JUST do AWESOME burgers and tons of toppings. And the fries, fried in peanut oil, mmmm... Those in Michigan will back me up, those not, try it when you can. As for taco joints, my best friend lived in San Diego for about four years. Visiting him RUINED Mexican food in general for me. Everywhere his wife an he would take me to would be privately owned, and sooo good. Carne asada steak nachos with guac made table-side - Holy fuuuuu.... so good. He lives back in Michigan now. We go to Five Guys for burgers.

We have it in Indiana to it is amazing

We have had three Five Guys locations open up within a half hour drive of me in the last year and a half. They are good. Only been to Texas once, El Paso and it was just a stopover on my way into Mexico, so I haven't gotten the chance to try Whataburger but I've heard nothing but good things except from those that swear by In-N-Out. I don't want to start a war about hamburgers. I like In-N-Out but there is always room for another quality burger. variety is the spice of life and all. The closest Whataburger locations to me are Arizona and I don't see that trip happening anytime soon.

Breaking news for hockey fans. Seattle is getting a NHL team and will be the 32nd team in the NHL 2021-22 season
Surprise surprise.....Merica gets another expansion team! Gary Betman is an idiot......Just my opinion.
I'm not against the USA getting expansion teams but we have several cities in Canada that I can guarantee you would get a lot better turn out than several US teams.(Florida, Nashville, Phoenix, etc). At one time if you traded your old non-winning lotto ticket you could get a ticket to a Florida game.....straight across trade, LMAO

Couldnt agree more I'm a diehard Colorado avs fan and was hoping Quebec was going to get the next expansion team but I got to admit I'm a little surprised they picked seattle but as you said and I agree Betman is and always will be a idiot lol

@DublDee, I couldnt agree more. IMO, there should be no hockey team south of the Mason-Dixon line...LOL. I can grandfather in the LA Kings, as they were part of the 1967 expansion, Dallas, eh, the old Minnesota North Stars/Oakland Seals/Cleveland Barons. Florida, Nashville, Arizona, Las Vegas, Carolina, those teams need to relocate.
I was a huge fan of the Quebec Nordiques, I actually have Joe Sakics home and away jerseys (replicas, but the home one is autographed!). Quebec needs a team, and Im sure there are a few others that would support a team as well.
