Not at all thanks for doing that.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 2 - FERRARI 458 ITALIA 2009 (RH) at Tokyo Expressway - South Outer Loop - 18:00 Clear (7 laps)
Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Herimopp89 wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.
PLEASE NOTE: Since @Herimopp89 has already won Prize A this season, he is ineligible to win it again until next season. This means that unless he loses Prize A due to incident reviews, any driver who competed in Division 3 on Sunday night will have the opportunity to suggest an entirely new car and track combo. I recommend that all D3 drivers from Sunday night start TESTING combos they would like to suggest. That way, you will be ready to post a good combo when @JLBowler gives the "all clear". It's important to mention that a good combo will not have a car that hits its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft). Also, please be sure to only suggest one combo. Any driver who suggests more than one combo will automatically be ineligible to suggest any combos at all. Please don't let that happen to you. Only suggest ONE combo (but not until @Herimopp89 is confirmed as the Prize A winner).

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - MAZDA RX-7 GT-X (FC) 1990 (SH) at Circuit de Sainte-Croix - B - 15:10 Fine Weather (4 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @SAMHAIN85 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @thracerviewr so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

With @Herimopp89 being our first prize winner this week and winning prize A, he is a repeat winner this season. This means that his prize reverts over to a suggestion and selection process. If you raced in D3 this week, you get to make one suggestion for prize A from which @Herimopp89 will choose.

  • You get one, and only one, suggestion.
  • You must post your selection in this thread for it to be considered.
  • Be clear in your selection. Use the full name of the car, track, and correct time of day.
  • Do not edit your post to change your selection.
  • Remember, you are making a suggestion and not voting for somebody else's suggestion.
  • Deadline to make a suggestion will be noon ET on Wednesday at which time @Herimopp89 will be clear to make his selection.

Tonight the SNAIL Endurance Series will be heading to Dragon Trail - Seaside in the 458 Italia GT3 '13 (Gr. 3). The 90-minute race starts at 9:00 EST - if you're interested in joining us, head over to our dedicated thread.

If you haven't yet given the Endurance Series a shot, this will be the perfect night to dip a toe. This combo was chosen specifically to give newcomers a chance to participate with minimal effort. The track was recently featured in Sunday night racing (so it shouldn't require any learning) and the car is a relatively tame Gr. 3. If you don't want to spend time figuring out the optimal pit strategy, simply put on Racing Softs and then pit when you can't handle it anymore (for tonight that'll likely be every 10-12 laps).

I'm freezing the car. Go find that Mazda a fun track @SAMHAIN85!

@JLBowler

With that, we have our second repeat prize winner for this week. @SAMHAIN85 has already used prize B this season so if you raced in D1 this week, you get to make a suggestion for a track from which he will choose.
