My issue was the G29 pedals...
I love the wheel.... BUT. I hit the wall hard and got damage.. the wheel jumped off center and i had to re-Calibrate it mid race.. can anyone else relate

I was a bit shocked how many complaints google pulled up about the CSL Elite wheel going off center after a hard FFB hit. Having second thoughts about picking up the wheel. Will need to look into this issue a bit more before I pull the trigger on getting the wheel.

I had a centering issue very early on but it wasn't from any kind of hard hit. After about 10 minutes of racing, the wheel would loose center by about 3-5 degrees. Not enough to prevent using it but more than enough to be annoying considering the price of admission. I'd need to recalibrate the wheel to get it back to center. Ultimately I sent the wheel back for repair. Since then it's been solid.

I now have the V3 pedals from Fanatec.

I got intouch with someone on the forum and it’s possible I didn’t get the right firmware when I downloaded it. I’m looking into it tonight.

It looks like there was quite a few network/lobby issues last night. While part of it may have something to do with the nasty weather around the country, I think its a good idea to make sure everyone is on the same page on their end. We have quite a few new SNAIL's who might not know about optimal connections.

Are you hardwired or using wifi for your PS4? If you are using wifi - theres a good chance thats your problem right there which can have a significant negative impact on the lobby.

Its a good idea to restart your modem/router and clear cache before racing begins. To clear your cache, go into the Options menu in GT, select Network and youll find 'clear cache'.

If other devices are connected to your wifi when racing (especially streaming youtube/netflix) it will also have a negative impact since its sucking up all your bandwith.

Well the CSL Elite issue saga has gotten much worse. I asked for some help in a different section and one of the FANATEC guys told me to update to their new BETA Firmware. Well after doing that my wheel wont finish its booting process. It stops turned all the way to the left and the light just flashes red. It is very possible i may be out this sunday unless we figure out how to fix it.

Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @Kgffy wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - AUDI R8 LMS AUDI SPORT TEAM WRT 2015 (RH) at Kyoto Driving Park - Yamagiwa - 15:30 Clear (7 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @SAMHAIN85 gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @Alexrider007 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select should not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in the draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to select the Amuse Superlegara for your car, post "Amuse Nismo 380 RS Superlagara". If you want to select Monza for a track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". This makes it much easier for the lineup to be updated accurately and also prevents confusing other league members as to which car or track you are selecting. Also, please be sure to list the PP and HP (after oil change) of any car you select.

While doing data I captured a D1 blooper reel moment I totally forgot about. I inadvertently created one of the largest pile ups I can ever remember happening in D1.
