Once again, D2's replays are not able to be found using the correct naming convention. Please address this by changing the tags so that they can be found. At this time, D2 is not eligible for prizes as the replays are not shared correctly. The deadline to have replays shared correctly is 8PM ET on Monday after racing.

They still do not come up when using the search tags. I also can't find it using the naming convention that you originaly provided. Is it possible that you did not enter the information under "search tag 1"?

I have a question of Fanatec wheel users: I am trying to adjust the dead zone on my brake pedal. I did this about 1.5 years ago using Fanatec's PC driver. Worked great. Now my wheel is not recognized, I can't contact support as my password doesn't work, I can't get a new one as I'm not sent an email to my email account and I can't register as a new client as my email address is in use!! So unless I can get this fixed my brake lights may come on when I don't really mean it, lazy left foot of mine. PS, I'll be racing tonight.

@platymusPrime just took the physics update for a test drive on my lunch break. Spoiler alert, its much much better.

I tried the new BRZ at Tsukuba on SH tires (stock tires), the loss of grip on the rear wheels is much more progressive and you can catch the slides more easily, its still a bit hard and snappy but nothing game breaking like before 1.13.

Also went for a drive with the C6 ZR1 on SH tires too at Trial Mountain, turned everything off, I was driving with ASM on and TCS 1 at all times before 1.13 and now it was a blast. It was still a handful, like you expect it to be but its drivable and so much more fun now.

Compared to racing on GT Sport last night, you really feel the improved FFB on GT7 IMHO. Can’t wait until the fix the lobbies, C6 ZR1 on SH tires @ Trial Mountain would totally be in my top picks for a combo.

Man I just came here to say pretty much the exact same thing! I am far more impressed with these physics changes than I thought I would be, what a blast now.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:

Therefore the entire combo has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since @IceWarden wins Prize A, he gets to choose an entirely new car and track combo to replace it.

The round that received the second most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - PORSCHE CAYMAN GT4 CLUBSPORT 2016 (RH) at Autodrome Lago Maggiore - GP - 18:15 Clear (7 laps)
This means either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since @Worst_Driver gets Prize B, he has the option to freeze the car or the track, or he can give that option to the Prize C winner. If he gives the freeze away, then he gets to decide what car or track replaces the part of the combo that is left unfrozen by the Prize C winner.

Prize C goes to @racingchamp30 so he gets whichever option the Prize B winner does not select.

Preliminary prize winners, please don't announce your prize selection until all incident reports have been filed and it has been confirmed that you don't have any penalties. It's also recommended that you review the SNAIL combo history and other data on our car and track history so that you can get an idea how many times we've raced each car and track. Please remember that originality is always appreciated, so picking cars and/or tracks that we've never raced is a plus (but not required). What's more important is that you thoroughly test any combo that you are considering before making it your official selection. For example, any car you select must not hit its rev limiter at any point during a race (even in a draft).

IMPORTANT: When posting your Prize A or Prize B selection, please list the complete in-game name of the car and/or track you are selecting. For example, if you want to choose the Integra Type R as your car selection, post "Honda Integra Type R (DC2) '98". If you want to select Monza for your track, post "Autodromo Nazionale Monza". Being specific helps us to update the lineup accurately and also helps avoid any confusion among the drivers. Also, please be sure to list the HP and Weight (LBS) of any car you select. For track selections, include the time of day (e.g: 09:00 Clear) or else it will be left to default.

Last night I was attempting to gold the mission that has you drift the Silvia at Fuji, and I couldn’t get gold to save my life. I tried for nearly an hour to no avail, the rear end would slip out unexpectedly and ruin my run every time. Granted, I’m no pro drifter. My only experience has been gained from previous missions like this in all of the GT titles.

Just now, after the patch, I easily got gold. Only took me a handful of resets before obtaining it. The slip was much more noticeable and I was able to reactively adjust my throttle to maintain the slide. I’m liking this update a lot.

By the way, Nic must secretly be Sophy, because nothing else explains how he managed to get over 10000 points in that mission before the patch. Gold was only 7000.

That is a correct assumption. The current plan is to compete for two more weeks on GT Sport. This will give us a full four week season. After that, the plan is to run two weeks as a test of an altered format on GT7. Based upon the results and feedback from that two week test, a decision will then be made for the direction of the June season.

Be advised that plans are subject to change based on events outside our control.

I haven't done any setup stuff to my Fanatec since I bought it so this may be of no help. Does it matter what mode the wheel base is in? PC / PS / Compatibility

It does matter which mode it's in, and the wheel defaults to PS mode after updating, so it's easy to forget to go back to PC mode. Thanks.

I went to the Fanatec site and was expecting there to be downloads and updates under CSL Elite directly. I spent many hours going through a variety of things, they might even have been drivers, I'm not sure. All I know is, none of them worked. I followed Phlano's instructions, and after 2 crashes during the process, I have been successful in adjusting the deadzone of the brake pedal!! 😁:cheers:🥰:cheers:

I knew I was going to have to update drivers, and I tried.😩 But, I got lost in my search and was latched on to... I don't know what, but it looked and behaved like I was updating things. I'm rusty at finding things in the PC world, I've been MAC too long and I wasn't good at the best of times.

Thanks again. I'll try and make notes, but don't be surprised to hear from me again in a couple of years when something else resets all my adjustments. Ciao. See you on track soon.

I am waiting for you'll. Never even fired up Sport after 7 came online. I am keeping an eye on Snail however. See ya soon!

I also have not touched Sport since the launch of 7. I think we have a format that can work. It's not what we have now but it's something that will allow us to use 7.

I just keep reminding myself how long we had to deal with a game that didn't have a tuning prohibited option. We adapted and found something that worked and we will adapt in this situation as well.
