I took it for a brief ride this morning. Subarus are soft, they even got the spongy brake pedal replicated on the sim. They handle like front wheel drive cars in real life. I can typically swap seats with a driver of a well setup Subaru and the muscle memory from a Honda translates quite well and there is little adjustment. Stock ones are soft, though, but make excellent daily drivers.
My best quick advice is with any softer car, don't upset it on entry. Be smooth with your inputs, even if means braking a little early in places like T2/3. And just like the nose loves to dive, it loves to rise as well so you will need to breathe off the throttle just a touch to get the nose pointed into the esses. Not a full lift, like go back to 75-85% throttle. Not enough to slow the car, but enough to transfer a little more weight to the nose. The car has a short wheelbase, so it's actually pretty twitchy. They got that right in the sim, too. So be careful braking hard downhill because the rear will try to pass you. Again, think brake a little earlier and a little lighter and I think it will pay off if you are having trouble keeping the car from sliding.
Anyone struggling with the combos; I can probably help you find some time, just let me know. If you're a second or more off where you want to be, there is likely some low hanging fruit I can point you towards after running some laps. I may be on a little bit later and get some seat time for myself anyway.
