Are you ****ing kidding me? How does the Clio get the most votes? It was the only combo of the night where there was actual RACING going on. And at least the Zonda was fun to drive. The FGT is a nightmare. Even if you enjoy driving it (thats your taste and I can't criticize that), you're delusional if you think it promotes close racing, which is what this league is all about.

I'm sorry, you're wrong. What you describe is qualifying or hot lapping. Racing means that you are running as fast as you need to run to win the race. If you're going to win the race, you must finish the race.

Not in D1 of course, but I voted the coffee maker off since it was impossible to pass someone before the start/finish line unless they completely screwed up the last corner. At GVS with the Clio, that isn't an issue as the draft is just enough to allow that to happen, but not so great that you can't defend it.

I think the Round 1 was voted off because it was getting old but I wouldn't have minded racing it again.👍
Round 2 , in my opinion , was a great combo! It was thought out and tested.
A little more practice and I probably would have done better.
Round 3 , I'm sorry , 👎. Not only was there no close racing , like we advertise
the rev limiter was hopping more then a rabbit on hot coals
Just a little advise , take it or leave it , can whoever gets the pleasure of winning prize A or B test the combo out. Pick what would be fun for all not just a few. Like we did in the past.

I have to say I hope the Zonda stays. Exceptionally difficult but very fun to drive. I have to think that being saddled with the Zonda and the FGT this week contributed to my 3rd career win in the Clio. I hope the Zonda gets a new location. The FGT and the Zonda were a real mind bender and forced me to concentrate so much more than I have ever had to. (Just a shame that we have to deal with the rev limits with the FGT and Daytona. It really breaks that concentration.) I know we have done Spa to death but bringing either the Pagani or the FGT there would be epic from a driver's point of view. There has been quite a bit of talk about what promotes close racing. My take is that in a group like this, close racing is the order of the day but from time to time we have to look at what combinations promote driver growth. There will be times that racing isn't as close as we would like it to be. We need to look at the bigger picture. Suffer through a few weeks of difficult combos and see how much closer and better racing is because of them... Just how I see it.... Qwithcherbellyachin;, Get behind the wheel and race your ass off!!

I felt exactly the same when it was first included in the lineup. Struggled under braking for turn 1 (too early while you're still steering gently left and it skated into the grass, too late and I needed a towel to setup on the sand), couldn't get the exit off turn 1 (too early on the power and around I went, too late and the person behind me got the drive and went by before we reached the hill) and it took me a couple weeks before I finally figured out that right-hander at the top of the hill (not that I nailed it every time after that, just that I kind of knew what to do, lol). But it was such fun in a pack, I loved it

Hey guys, lets get on gtplanet and complain about people's choices for combos and the way they vote. Oh wait, we're already doing that.
And since everyone's giving their opinion here's mine. Someone has been bitching about one or more of the combos since the rx-7 slow version was up(as I can remember people were saying it was a battle of attrition?) if you guys complain about every race every week it's hard for some of us to actually take this seriously as far as actually using your input to decide upon a combo. Maybe we should just ban cars over 650 pp so we can pussyfoot around the course more in slow cars that are more "predictable"(whatever thats supposed to mean), and probably get rid of races under 400pp since you can't pass because the car is too slow.

And, with the new update that changes the PP again, this will be on sports soft tyres since it's 500PP from the dealer.
