Thanks. It was very fortunate timing that we ran those cars when we did. Since the latest physics update, the cars are no longer competitive with each other in the way they were. With the increased longitudinal grip of the most recent update, the Jaguar got a little faster, the W196 got a lot faster, and the Aston Martin stayed about the same. We were lucky enough to run those cars at a time between updates 1.49 and 1.55, as they only achieved close parity in GT7 during those few months. Dropping them a compound gets them a bit closer to where they were, but still not quite.@Marcus Garvey Your photos are looking great, it really was a blast to race those old cars around.
Much of my time on GT7 lately has been retesting cars I had been working with to plan future events. One of these days I'll get the photos from the other race nights we ran. And another day yet, I might get the gopro videos and data overlays from my real life racing last year. I've still got dozens of races I ran in 2024 that I stuffed the gopro video on a hard drive and haven't even gotten round to syncing the data for overlay yet, let alone uploading them. They and the remaining GT7 photos are on my list!
