I disagree.

Prestige is the name of the game. That's not something that is earned easily. There has to be something inherently special about an event for it to garner such respect. It doesn't have to be outstanding competition, beautiful location or a death toll the length of the track itself. Prestige is not a science and is rarely manufactured successfully. There is significant value in prestige and is not somerhing to be simply tossed aside. To do so would be to toss aside history.

I recently made a comment on Facebook concerning somebody's opinion of excessive nostalgia (concerning old racing videos vs. new racing tactics) and I'll stand by it... You'll know when society has truly lost its way when nostalgia is no longer relevant.

But that's just my 2 cents.

Anyone that's thinking they're getting burnt out or tired of it, don't quit. It'll take you years to realize you've given up on something far more important to you than you realize. I didn't quit by choice, but I could have came back much sooner than I did.

Hopefully very soon I'll be complaining about racer X's choice of car Y on track Z right there with y'all!

Daylight savings time starts for us this saturday so I thought I would give you guys across the pond a heads -up .It is winter so the time falls back a hour .

First off, I apologize if I've posted this in the wrong thread. I've just recently gotten back into the game, and have had to start all over with a new PS3 and go through the headache of doing 21 updates, one at a time! Anyway, I'm looking to race with a group or a few groups of drivers that like to race hard, but 100% clean, or as close as possible, and after reading many posts in this clubs threads, it appears I may have found the right place? Are you accepting new drivers?
