:gtpflag: Announcement :gtpflag:

As you can see from the polling results, it's 2/3 yes and 1/3 no. Glad to see a good response!

So here is what is going to happen to keep it fair for everyone. We will run the 4 race night for two weeks, then the 3 race night on the third week.

So:
Week 1- Four races, (approx 18 min's), 2 cars from the same class, switch halfway through night, no pitstops.

Week 2- Four races, (approx 18 min's), 2 cars from the same class, switch halfway through night, no pitstops.

Week 3-Three races, (approx 30 min's), same car all night, with pit stops.

Repeat.

On the four race nights, if there is only one layout of the track, we will then race at two different tracks.
And, as in the past, on the three race nights, if there is only one layout, then you can expect weather.

The last two weeks have been the four race format, and seeing as I have picked the combos already, we will stay with it for this coming Monday. The following week we will go to the three race night.

NICE!

The first f1 driver to die of natural causes and still died at the track. If i had to go and i had to choose a heart attack at the track, if it was painless, is not a bad way to go. Died doing something he loved. Small percentage of people get that privelage
I doubt it was painless, I can tell you from experience that it isn't. Far from it. Mine was bad enough that I barely made it the two blocks to the shop. I would imagine Dennys was worse as he died shortly after he got the car stopped.
Oh...almost forgot... just a reminder that until Monday...I'm still baaaawwwwsome!

Off topic, but I thought someone here might be able to use this code to save money on the My Movies 3 app. It’s for tracking your movie collection. I have about 1,000+ dvds so I use this to remember what movies I have. You use your smartphone to scan the UPC code and it adds it to your collection. That way you can search by name, genre, actor, year, etc. plus it also shows the movie trailer. If you use the code just please post that you have used it so no one else gets frustrated if they try using the code but it won’t work.

Who's going to win the Superbowl?

Kansas City Chiefs!

Nope. Not this year. The GOAT, Tom Brady, once again marched his team down the field with under 2 minutes in the fourth quarter to set up the win in OT.

Steve made me realize my error the win was not in regulation. Guess I am just use to the nine previous times he came out a winner with less than 2 min on the clock.

C’mon man, it was in overtime, they’re just lucky they got the coin toss! As much as I dislike the Patriots, I gotta hand it to Belacrap for figuring out how to keep the pressure on Mahones. Was a good game.
I’ve now become a huge fan of the Rams :D

Where do you live aero where it gets that cold?

Again If you have a spot open for the last 2 races send me an invite please.
Will send you invite at beginning of the night. I’ll send you a PSN message before the last two races to let you know as well.

Near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Mike as well. We are the worlds second coldest capital.

I figures you had to be somewhere near there. Those temps are crazy low.

It’s the same here. -20 but -37 wind chill. It’s not actually as bad as it sounds. Yes it’s brutal but after about -10 it doesn’t matter because it’s just so damn cold anyway. Just a normal day for bear though.
I hope you plowed any snow out of the way to the shed.. this guys going to slip and fall and break his other leg.

It’s a balmy -13 at bears right now!

Two different neighbors were here with tractors blowing snow yesterday. It was the coldest snowstorm in over a 100 years. It doesn’t usually snow when it’s that cold.

Both legs were broken Colts, I’m a man of steel now, what good possibly go wrong. Knocking on wood!

Not only is this cold (NYC), but it doesn't show the 30 mph gusty's :nervous:.. Jet stream must be shooting low across the North East.

Anyway, just wanted to confirm for tonight :).

Well, if I could wrap up tonight's racing from my perspective in one word: VICTIM!!! It seems anyone else's mistake somehow found me taking a beating. Well, that's racing folks. Still more fun than having to... well... do something other than racing with our buddies. I will admit, Steve and I had a very good race at the end of Race 3. Steve had the long straight gearing advantage and cleanly took advantage with a turn one pass. Not to mention, he had to close in for several laps, so well done Steve.

The Pass: (01:34:00)
This one's worth a look, as if you pay attention, I ran a defensive line into turn 1. Steve still went with an aggressive, inside overtake. He and I both exhibited excellent racecraft in my opinion. I defended, but didn't swerve to wreck either of us. Steve held the inside without making contact, and knew he could gather the car up on exit. My hope was to get a run on him out of the exit - No dice. Some darn good racing there. Steve, you need to start streaming your races - I'd love to see that from your view!

Also had some fun racing with @GTLehman and @GUTTERBOY3007 in the final race. Just wish I wouldn't have been fighting my way from the back. Whaa-whaa-whaa...

Edit After Full YouTube Coverage Released:
If you guys remember me saying my car was handling different than in Qualifying, watch the first lap of my Race 1. It's crazy to see how much I was struggling with my car (01:45:00). The tires were locking up when I touched the brakes, the front was washing out, back end was kicking out, and the gearing was just off. And I'm pretty sure Mike had the race settings the same as qualifying too. Just odd, but believe me, I don't mind these oddities. In fact, I kind of like it compared to the obsessively boring predictability and repeat-ability of GTSpurt's races. But I still just like to point it out. Especially if it gives me a tiny bit of an excuse for a poor night's performance. This was a car I was pretty confident in, and it was biting me in an naughty way in that first race.

(Full race footage waiting on YouTube approval for now - as always).
