Are we using last week's format? For example shorter (20 minute'ish) races without pit stops? I love the vehicle swapping, and these two vehicles are absolute gems! But I do like the full 30 minute races too. Either way, it'll be a blast. Great cars, great track.

Looking forward to another night - but am definitely going to (try to) run a couple mock races this weekend. I've been getting killed by my long absence. Stupid mistakes like having the wrong gears selected, tire pressures set wrong in pit strategy, slowing down way too early for pit entry, etc. All newby type mistakes that I just need to play the game more to get refreshed. But since getting back to Monday nights - those have been my only nights on the game. And those details are making me still rusty.

To be honest, I think that's the stuff PCars 3 is going to try and simplify. As much as I enjoy the driving experience more in P Cars 2, GT Sport is a much easier game to just pick up and play. It'll be interesting to see how well PCars 3 can simplify the game without dumbing it down too much.

Guys, we are going to put you on the reserve list to start. Report #4 explains what that is all about. You will go to the active list if we see a steady attendance after a few weeks. We have to be strickt now that the room is basically full.
To the rest of the lounge lizards, we won’t be taking in anymore members now for awhile.
@Gr8_Lakes, yes four shorter races, no pit stops.

If you have room for the second half of the night I may be able to make it. My meeting gets over at 9 and I am usually home by quarter after. I will send a request to you Mike when I get home.

Ok guys, it seemed after last night that quite a few of you like this format of 4 races, using two cars from the same class and doing the switch halfway through the night. We decided to put it up for a vote, as you will see at the top of the page. You have until Friday noon to vote.
We will still change up the night once in awhile to something different.

I personally like last nights format, the same class cars racing was closer and with 20 minute races, if you mess up, the boring part of driving by yourself is shortened. Man, those tires went off fast once they got hot. Greasy or what? But what awesome cars to race.
I think I know what cars next week will bring......it’ll be another Aerovintage pick I’m sure. I would maybe go to Scotland, if I was allowed to pick combos. Dad is catching up on his missed time away by choosing cars we raced but he missed. So far so good....two fantastic weeks so far.

My only concern with running the same class would relate to the Driver Skill Rating. Easily corrected by turning it off, but if left on the A Class drivers will take the points haul each Monday, while the B Class will take a beating. Having separate classes allowed us to compete separately for those points. I don't know if anyone even cares about their DR score, but I just thought I'd bring it to attention.

FWIW, I love both formats. There's no wrong way to go in my opinion. A weekly flip-flop might be difficult to plan for the parents, but could also be an option. I know David is certainly not missing the rain lately, but we've GOT TO take advantage of the weather options sometimes. Rain, fog, lightning, it's all soo cool!

The license system in this game doesnt care what position you finish in. It does care about where you finish in relation to others drivers license. If you were 1400 and another racer had 1600.......you could finish behind him all night long and it's not going to affect your license. Now if you were to finish behind someone who had a 1350 then you would lose points. Where a driver really gains points is to finish higher than a driver whose license is higher than their own.
