Tonight’s gonna be fun no mater what happens.
Shout out to Aerofigureout for doing most of the work to keep this room alive. Even though he sniffs fat girls bicycle seats, he is good at playing with numbers. I basically only test and host.
We’re cumming up to our two year anniversary next month....how do you like them apples? It’s getting harder to find combos in this aging game, but we can still pull a few rabbits out of the hat from time to time.

thanks to all you loyal guys who are here most weeks, without you wankers, Lobanaro would be just another room in the herd.

Wow, an almost compliment from Lobban :D
And a good example of why he leaves things for me to figure out. Our two year anniversary next month , not, our Third anniversary will be this coming March 20th.

Wau... March 20....my first race-night back in the country.

Here is an idea to try out some day on a holiday when we just want to screw around.....
- 3 or 4 x Multi class
- You can pick any car in the multi class
- Only provision is that all 3 or 4 classes be represented (equally if possible, but not mandatory)
- Details of how it must be run to be sorted out (easy to do in GTSpurt), but the idea is as follows:
- Run a qually time with NO Sandbagging (If you sandbag, then the whole idea falls flat).
- Calculate the amount of laps required to run the slowest guy for 20 minutes
- Reverse grid from qually
- Slowest guy goes first and every other driver has a delayed start calculated based on qually time and amount of laps. (Need someone with spreadsheet capabilities to set this up live..... Any volunteers?)
- The theory is that everyone should get to end at the same time. Having multi classes means that there might even be lapping (or unlapping) required.
- We run something similar to this once a month in Snail. It doesn't always work out the way it should, but the guys who run consistent laps and keep it on the track usually finish close to each other.

Anyway - just an idea

I tried suggesting something like that last year, when we had to make our combos, but it was me suggesting and trying to explain it. Almost like cat and mouse. (For the few who know what cat and mouse was lol)

Also I’ll probably not be there tonight, buddy’s birthday, thank god.
Last 5 or more times I’ve drove that car I’ve quit for a many of reasons, so a hard nope on that one.

Take care red, see ya next year!

:gtpflag: Results :gtpflag:

Lots of fun last night guy's, those short tracks were a blast, that rain at Khill was brutal though. Sure did enjoy finishing ahead of A guy's in some races :P :D, especially in race 6, where I was particularly awesome

Congrats to @SGETI, this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the overall win

Man if they would've taught me how to count in school I would've stayed for the last one. Thanks @SGETI for that awesome tune on the escort. I really enjoyed the car this time actually rather than just going in with a default tune.

:gtpflag: Race Day :gtpflag:

Must use a minimum of 3 different cars, your choice. So you can use a different car for each race, or use three and repeat one of them.
All one group again.
There are no fuel numbers because each car is different, you will have to trust the tuning numbers or figure it out on your own. Yes, as Colts says, no way were we going to test each car at each track. If anyone runs out of fuel, then it’s just something else for us to laugh at!

@ Rob Brown They said an 1.5 hrs to build not to unpack. Read the instructions. May not make it tonight, definitely going to be late. Just found out my kid has a soccer scrimmage and no ride to get there. How dare my wife think she should have a life.

Okay, done!

Um, wait. Gotta put some other stuff on there. Probably won’t make race time.
Jeff, if you only had my problems . . .
The new rig looks friggin' awesome!!! Christmas present? Present to yourself for making your own "nice list."

B&H has the Thrustmaster T-GT wheel on sale right now for $419. I've been tempted to treat myself to a little Christmas present, but reviews say it's basically only worth it if you play GTSport most of the time. The wheel itself has the same internals, except for a better cooling fan design, as the T-PC wheel. For $420, it's a pretty good deal. But I just don't want a wheel that's only going to shine in the game I play the least... I think... Well, for right now, at this moment, at least.... We'll see what happens after a few more beers tonight. :ill:

Here's tonight's final race showing my limited 1st and 2nd gear handicap. Imagine how badly I would've destroyed you all if I had two more gears. You can see me trying to shift into third and forth when the camera shows the interior view. At the end of the race (and video) I opened a practice race and checked the tune, sure enough, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear all had the same ratio. Don't know how that happened, but, shi+ happens. Had a lot of fun tonight, even if I got yelled at by the wife for it. WORTH IT!
