Sorry about the bailing without any notice the other week. My buddy came by and said that his neighbor was trashing some old metal square tube fencing, but we had to cherry-pick what we wanted that night because the fence company was going to collect it the next morning. I have a few projects I needed steel for, so....

Speaking of projects I’m finally working on a (static) motorcycle sim rig. I mocked one up using PVC so I could use it to verify the dimensions before I weld a rig up out of steel. Couple of questions: has anyone used a good polish for sheet metal? I don’t need a mirror like finish, just something to reduce swirl marks. I made a monitor stand for the motorcycle and painted it, but the sheet metal is dull and has light scratches since it was basically scrap I bent to fit the stand top. And second, has anyone ever used the Eastwood Powder Coating System? Is it easy to use, and can you cure parts in your kitchen oven or does it smell and mess up the oven. Don’t need my wife killing me for wrecking her oven! I’ve been using paint in both rattle can and HVLP automotive. Shop time is getting hard to come by, so I was hoping to try powder coating at home. The finished rig will have a fairing, rear set pegs and a mock fuel tank. This looks like a hobby horse as it is right now! Lol.

Sorry for the accidental double post.

Have you guys thought of trying a race night with Assetto Corsa, GT: Sport, Isle of Man TT, Ride 3, MotoGP or even WW2 planes in War Thunder? They have an Air Race mode and the game is free to download and play.

Goot to see ya Steve.
I'm up for trying some Assetto Corsa racing and some War Thunder might be fun - but only if we can shoot at each other!

The other Steve will know better, but I've always found Brasso to be a very good metal polish - especially just getting rid of oxidation. Now that I am in my own home, I'm seriously considering making a rig like yours for my hobby room.

Great night of Wreckfest.. allow me to pile on the highlight reel:

Full stream here, feel free to clip some more!

This is what I was intending to reply to. Wreakfest replays.
LOL. That was fun to watch. The spontaneous reactions and commentary of the drivers are as hilarious as the wacky races. You guys are freaking hilarious. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!!

:gtpflag: Results :gtpflag:

Good night of racing guys, well maybe not for me, lol. First race was great, but then the wife decides to turn the power off upstairs in the house (where the router is) a few laps into race 2, and of course all get a good laugh out of that one. With that and some business distractions on the side during the evening, last place was all I could do.
Good job Hermi in race 4, you did what had to be done to beat out Colts potential dual week Mr. Awesomness! Oh, I almost forgot, I beat Sgeti in race 1

Congrats to @Herimopp89, this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the overall win

Dang.. sorry I missed out -- had a lot going on today. Next week.... maybe we can get an Assetto room going sometime this week. I'd really like to compare tuning notes on that 312T.
