@Rednose58
Just watched the last race Replay show a lot more. I did not realize I bumped you at the end of the straight. That bump I now realize, opened the door for me and I went for the pass. Would not have taken the pass if I knew i bumped you. The next turn we hit again and i pushed you wide. Again never felt contact. Felt contact on the third one. You came off the ruble strips and third time is the charm. This one is all on me. All the other ones where @Mike Lobban fault, I have the videos.

:gtpflag: Results :gtpflag:

That was a really fun night, even with the small field. Red, in the last race I know you backed off on the start finish straight on laps 7 & 8 or else you would have been by easily, but thanks, it was fun trying to hold you off for the rest of the lap. I'm pretty sure you were going to nip me at the line on the last lap, but thanks to Sgeti........lol
And I would just like it to be known, in case you miss it below, that a) I won a race, b) I beat Sgeti overall, c) I beat Shaun overall, and d) especially gratifying as always, I beat Slobban overall........:D

Congrats to @Rednose58, this weeks "Mr. Awesome" for the overall win

Ya, bite me Aerogimp.
That was a really fun night with lots of close racing. I’m wondering if Rednose can get his car fixed for next week? It was like he had a bullseye on his car. Good thing he’s so fast to recover from multiple beat downs.
Sgeti....race one.....last lap......last corner.......bwaaaaa....did I teach you that?
I was getting really tired watching KingAirboy being on the crack of my donkey all night. My rear view mirror was filled with the mighty Roar of those turbines. Get good bro.
Race three was the most exciting race for me and Aero......we were good bro. Best race I think we’ve ever had.....till Bear lost his brakes. Mine were shot too. It’s worth a watch.
Thanks to Sgeti for taking out the target,(Rednose), on the last lap in race four. Gave me second instead of fourth.....I don’t remember who won the race.....who cares, I got second.

I also think we should all post a photo of ourselves just to see who we are talking to. I’ll go first.

haha... It was aaawsome fun, even though there were incidents..... I think I caused one with @GTLehman - sorry pal. Yes, I was holding back a bit on those two laps, but my plan was to put maximum pressure on @aerolite. The 911 has the edge in the twisty parts and the back straight is a bit short and it requires a good exit to make a clear pass before the turn. The 911 can brake later, so it can take the place back under braking. I wanted to make it as close as possible to a dead heat at the end ...... but then came @SGETI ..... and there went my driver rating.

Yeah, a really excellent and fun night! You know it's close racing when you finish two thirds and a fourth and still end up on the very bottom.
It was really cool being in the same ballpark as Red and SGETI. Granted, I was sitting in the nosebleed seats, but I was in the same ballpark....
at least I'd like to think. The concept of letting each person choose their own cars in a class worked well here, and I think the formula worked really well.
@Rednose58 - no problem brotha' - it was nice to be close enough to swap some paint.... you nudged me and I nudged you - mirror incidents. Great fun though - we also had a few side-by0side moments.

Maybe this formula would work for a GTO class race. Also, I know we don't do night races, but I still think it would be cool to do one on accelerated time where it starts at 4PM and changes to night as we race.

Can’t believe I missed out last night. Not even going to say what happened - too embarrassing. Friggin’ idiotic. Just kicking myself. Oh well, hopefully something fun again for next week.

You Bob's are starting to lose it
Here at home "the fam" is calling it Quarantine Brain. This is the type of brain that causes you to completely forget what day of the week it is. Last Tuesday I went out to mow the lawn for the first time this year. It takes me about four hours to mow the lawn. So I told my wife I was starting around noon to give myself enough time to mow, eat dinner, shower, and still be in time for racing. "You know it's Tuesday, right?", was her reply. :ouch:

Sadly, it seems to have only gotten worse over the six days since then.

On another note: My son downloaded the new Snowrunner game on his Xbox One. What a cool game. It's kind of an off-road, trucking simulator, with "exploration" vehicles like pickups and Jeeps. I've been playing it with him, and while it's kind of a grinding game, it's lots of fun. I'm torn as to whether it would be more fun with a wheel or not. The controller is plenty of fun because you really need to see your surroundings, and I don't like using a wheel in chase cam (I realized this is why I don't really enjoy Wreckfest). As an avid off-road enthusiast, I think it's the bee's knees. The graphics and physics are super realistic as far as off-roading are concerned. I can't speak to the force feedback for wheels, but the game is definitely a cool way to kill time if anyone is looking for something to occupy themselves.

Not only you bro. I keep losing track of the days as well. Strange times.

If you guys picked up one of those cool new things ........ what do they call them again???????? A CALENDAR!!!!!! Then you could "X" out the days as they go by and you will always know what day it is!!!

This new technology is crazy, what will they think of next!!!

Right?!? I just use the calendar on my phone, but then again, I'm one of those young fellas at 50...

Do those flip phones have the time and date on them???

I'm never sure what day it is.
It's either day shift, night shift or I'm off.
So it's either 'I get to have a drink tonight', 'I don't get to have a drink tonight' or "I get to do anything I want all day... including have a drink. That's my calendar.

I purchased a new rig, therefore I no longer need my old Obutto Ozone. Is there something wrong with this rig? Nope. You will need to get a seat. My old seat was near full of Grade A Italian butt juice, (remember there comes a time in life you should never trust a fart. ) as well as the back part of the seat broke. This rig comes with an unprecedented racing hall of fame history, numerous Mr. Awesome wins along with Endurance racing championships. Now for legalese, I can not guarantee your results when using this rig will match the previous owners spectacular talent and career. This is the time to own a part of sim racing history.

I am keeping the keyboard tray and shifter mount along with the custom carbon fiber wrapped table top which was the brain child of the racer and maybe you too can replicate . (maybe not.) the Est. weight 60-75LB +-. If need to ship, will be delivered from the 02571 zip code.

If no one responds I will toss it up on craigslist.

I looked up shipping, at least via USPS, and they won't do anything that heavy - 70lbs max. And I know UPS and FedEx will be cost prohibitive. SO I guess I'll just stick with my TV tray anchored by dive weights. It works well, at least well enough to unprecedentally beat a racing hall of famer last week!
