Sounds pretty good.
Interesting aspect of being able to modify tuner parts, as long as it doesn't mean we have to 'earn' money or levels to buy them.

When I first started running PC, I was a bit dissapointed we couldn't make our own liveries. Now I'm glad we don't have to mess with it and most cars have a nice selection. We'll see on that too, once again as long as we don't have to buy stuff.

LOL! My baby is a 1991 Toyota Celica convertible (manual of course) with just 120k on the clock. Got it for a steal. Best car ever made and runs like the day she was bought. Maybe one day will drop a 3SGTE in it :D
Awesome!
I had an '87 MR2 that I owned for 20 years (bought it in '91). I love just about all the Toyotas form the 80s and 90s, they were well designed, bulletproof and had style. My current ride is a '99 RAV4. And, no Mike, that doesn't make me gay.

Political correctness . . . please.
Are you happy nerds thrilled that PC3 was announced (as Red mentioned already)?

Sure are. Too bad you're no longer a nerd since you became too cool. Are you gonna get it?
If you do, and decide to come back and join the nerds, we could both have green cars but different liveries...

Yes! 80s and especially 90s Toyotas are the best. I was looking at MR2s but they were either rusted out or in good shape and the owner was asking too much. Bet that MR2 was fun those weighed nothing. I got my Celica for 2 grand and they guy delivered it 3 hours to me lol. And bad news about PC3. It is officially NOT a sim. The developer blog said that there will be NO TIRE WEAR, NO TIRE TEMPERATURES, NO FUEL CONSUMPTION, AND NO PIT STOPS. What sim doesn't have those crucial aspects...very disappointing.

:gtpflag: Cars and Tracks for June 29th, 2020 :gtpflag:

As June 29th is the actual 2 year anniversary date of my accident, (and as most of you know I'm still recovering from), we decided to revisit the first combo after that day in 2018. I was still out of it in ICU that night. As it turns out it was more of a fun night so that is kind of fitting for me. We will run each car up each coast for a total of 6 races, just as below. And we get to run that Porsche two weeks in a row!
A couple of weeks ago, when thinking about this, I went back in our thread to where Mike posted about me having this accident (page 104, post 3101). I read through many pages of all your comments, (my first reply was page 106, post 3174), and it sure brought back a lot of memories, but one's I have never forgotten. The support, cards, and gifts that I received from you guys is something I will never forget and still appreciate to this day. You are certainly a great group of guys,

Shameless Plug... but the current header image on srm.com is from that night.;)

Here's another goodie. We were all supposed to be in yellow cars, someone, probably @coltsjugg wasn't. Go figure.

Thanks for everything Steve, you're an inspiration and a super solid guy. Thanks for sticking around to keep a leash on @Mike Lobban . :D

What do you mean? This is right up the BOBs alley! No pitstops, no fuel to calculate, and no pesky tires to choose! The game will do all the work for them.
Not this bob, I won't be buying the game. It looks like just gt3 cars, and from what I've heard it's an arcade style game.
I'm not that upset, we have a perfectly good sim right now. Let's just continue using it.

Not sure where you keep getting “just GT3” cars from. They might not be adding a whole slew of old stuff, but they aren’t taking them away either.

Project Cars On Facebook
Race the way you want, when you want, and how you want. Night-time dicing through the city-streets in tuned Japanese imports? Daytime racing at Monza historic with classic open-wheelers? IndyCars on a fine spring day at Indianapolis? Just bring your skill—the rest is here, waiting for you in ProjectCARS3.

You seem right about arcade style though. They hung us out to dry.

@aerolite Hi I am still new and a little confused on the rules. I remember there being 2 races per day? So does that mean that, on the chart you just sent, we will be doing race 1 and 2 today, 3 and 4 next week, 5 and 6 week after that? Thanks.

There is usually four races per night. Two cars and two tracks.
We run special nights once in a while and tonight’s was one of those. The chart that gets posted each week is for that Monday night. So tonight is three cars, each running at both courses, so six races.
The chart looks a little odd because I just added races five and six to the end of the usual chart. Same with the score sheet you will see tomorrow.

Hi I am still new and a little confused on the rules

The BOB's that run this lounge want you to think they have a well mapped out plan. Years of dedication and toil to perfect and improve their sim racing careers. The truth is they can't remember one week from the next, the only thing that is certain we will be racing on a day that ends in 'Y'.

Seeing that you are the FNG which we will constantly remind you, your job is to make sure you bring enough mind numbing substance to feed the whole room all night long.

still confused? You should be even tho the co big cheese tried in vein to explain the confusion. He forgot about the three race nights and the number of times each car can and must be used. The color car which each driver must request at the beginning of the night, don't worry your the FNG and you won't get a pick. The racing number each driving is required to race for the entire night, Don't even get me started on the racing number qualifications and criteria to determine if you must use an 'even' number or you must use an 'odd' number. The land on confusion.

And if you think you're confused now @ssternko, just wait until the sheep and peanut butter shows up...
