Welcome CB, please read report #1 (I'm sure you have as you posted here). We do change things up once in awhile but for the most part follow what is in the OP.
Please send both Mike and I friend requests so we can send you an invite on racenight.
Look forward to having you join us.
If anybody can give advice, then that would be nice
Just want to apologize to you Robbie, when you were lapping me. I couldn't find the mirror function and was relying on the cars mirrors. Didn't see you till it was too late.Just to clear up my side;
Race two was a gong show. I did touch a few people by accident at the start, and gave the position back. Near the end of the race I came up behind the leader on a long straight and proceeded to give him a bump draft. He did not wreck when I started pushing him. I let off and gave him room to brake for the long sweeping corner at the bottom of the hill but he misjudged his speed and hit the wall while I drove away. From my perspective that's nothing to get mad about. Please make note that this is the same guy who wrecked colts.
Race 3 near the end I spun and let whoever the heck it was by, caught up to him with two laps to go, and going into turn 3 he opened up the inside and I stuck my nose in and ran the inside of the curb pretty well all the way to the apex. There was no more room to my right because I was up on the curb, yet buddy still squeezed me down and eventually he chopped my nose off and spun himself out, proceeded to cut across the track in the esses and ram me off track in "retaliation"... Not cool dude.
I thought for sure that it was a public lobby because of these two incidents, very uncharacteristic behaviour for the regulars that show up on Monday. I very rarely have any run ins with each of you, I take pride in running clean and fair (but still race hard). Race one with @Wardez was an absolute hoot, he pushed me to the limits of that bimmer and I'm sure I did the same to him, but we never touched. That's why I enjoy racing with you guys. It's not so much the fact that I can run away and set good laps, it's because I can race with like minded folks that care just as much as racing clean and fair as I do.
Anyway my Rant is over, roll on Monday!
Also PS thanks again for hosting Mike, we all appreciate it!
Can we run default? My blood pressure is rising from trying to tune the car in p2.This coming Monday, Oct 9th, we start our official PCars2 race night, following the reg schedule as we did in PCars1. (Report #1)
I just posted the cars to vote on in the regular spot, (Report #2). Vote deadline will be Fri at 6pm EST.
Please, no more inviting new drivers in on race night, if you know someone that would be a good fit then direct them here and they can request to join through the proper procedure. Tks.

I'm seriously thinking of going back to p1 until this games menus get fixed/ changed.
10 seconds?.. it's about 2 minutes before it lets me back on the track. It's not that bad @yogi bear !! Steering ratio is a huge user preference when running with a wheel while not giving anyone a distinct advantage. If that were untouchable I think some would lose it. Tires, air pressures, brake pressure... Waiting 10 seconds to edit sucks but once your in its not all that bad BUT I'm def with you on them fixing these little issues. They rushed the release and shouldn't have because PC1 was tit. Allll because Gran Tourismo Sport, gotta beat GTS!
Don't apologize Bear, that wasn't me you hit, it was the guy I was chasing! I should be thanking youJust want to apologize to you Robbie, when you were lapping me. I couldn't find the mirror function and was relying on the cars mirrors. Didn't see you till it was too late.

I may be the odd man out, but the Ferrari Daytona, 333SP, F40 as well as COTA, Long Beach and classic Monza and Spa are worth the price of admission for me. IMO, the force feedback adjustments are easier and the cars are more driveable. May not mean much from a slow guy, but if they can work the bugs out it will just be icing on the cake.I dont know why everyone got there hopes up so much for this game. All i wanted was new tracks and cars.. But according to gt sport, on VR, you can use "almost all the tracks and cars" 140 out of... 150. If there's 150 cars thats weak.
I'm with you @Awaffle14 , if I can't adjust steering ratio then forget about it. Seems the wheels are just turning way too much on stock settings. To anyone who hasn't adjusted their steering ratios, ignore me, and just go about your business. Nothing to see here. And Bear, each night when I start I delete all the previous night's tunes in the game's save data menu. If you haven't gone through the process I'll happily guide you through it Saturday or Sunday night. It fixes the menu lag, but you'll lose any tunes you've saved. I'm only doing very basic tuning for now. Tires and pressures, track bars and aero, and fuel, that's about it.It's not that bad @yogi bear !! Sgeti helped me out with the menus. It helped some. But then it chugged again at the start of the race. Every one was in turn 3 before it put me in the car. But the real bummer is the force feedback on my g29. It flat out sucks!I'm with you @Awaffle14 , if I can't adjust steering ratio then forget about it. Have fun....I'm going back to p1. G29 feels like a cheap arcade wheel in p2 . Googled solutions, found a ton of PS4 people with the same issues. Jumped back in p1. Worked great. P.s. Public lobbies are much cleaner, so at least there's that.
That's too bad Mel, sorry to hear you have so many issues. I, for some reason, have had very little issues, especially with my 29, I actually think it feels a lot better in 2. I haven't been on for a week so hoping when I get back on this Monday everything will still be ok.Have fun....I'm going back to p1. G29 feels like a cheap arcade wheel in p2 . Did you make any changes?... if I could get it to feel just like I have it for p1 that would be great. That's too bad Mel, sorry to hear you have so many issues. I have done very little as far as adjustments and tuning. All I ever did for the wheel was the initial calibrating and went with the raw setting.Did you make any changes?... if I could get it to feel just like I have it for p1 that would be great.
I've had the same experience as Aero, I did the initial calibration, and it's really good. I adjusted the FFS settings, initially starting with 'immersive', then choosing 'raw'. Then I adjusted some of the settings based on the descriptions, giving a short drive test after each adjustment. I will look them up and send them to you later if you like and see if that helps.Did you make any changes?... if I could get it to feel just like I have it for p1 that would be great.
Right?! The perfect accessory for the outfit... a race car.Now THAT'S great parenting! Sweet suit, Sparco's are super comfortable. Now you just need to buy him a vee
Did you guys calibrate as the game says to? My T300 was very wonky when I calibrated it the way the game says - huge, very spongy dead zone that felt nothing like PCars, or Assetto, or any game I've ever played. For the second part of calibration, instead of turning 90* as the game says, just set the steering lock number to 900 for G29, or 1080 for T300 (provided your using the 1080 setting/5 blinks, otherwise use 900 for 4 blinks).
I hate to say this to you buddy, but this Honda has @yogi bear written all over it. It's like a lighter Caterham, with a higher revving engine. The rear end just follows you around the track spinning away - but the tires never overheat. It's a wild ride. Thanks I'll try it when my shoulder/ arm heals...I shouldn't have been on the other day, now ive messed it up worse. ( good drugs)
